Haven't seen the game yet but it sounds like Beale nailed it today. All the subs were spot on. Seems like it's coming together for him now he's had some time.

    Brilliant win.
Small thing I know but look at the reactions of all the subbed players going off. All smiling, all high fives to player(s) coming on and the rest of the bench.
    No huffs, no dirty looks.
    I like that.

Good point mate, we can't have 30 year olds who can't last 90 minutes keeping out lads like this ...

... Beale's subs were absolutely spot on today.

Good performance all round today. Delighted for Beale personally and I hope folk can start giving him a fair crack at it.

Thought our control was good second half and the subs were well used. Looked threatening from all parts. Delighted with Rigg, he is going to be important in this run in for me. Jobe looked very good again, running power.

Neil was immense I thought. Man of match for me. Holds everything together and when it is on he runs forward so well.

I'd rather Stoke or Birmingham went down tbh.

Class goals, good result, really pleased for Beale.

Spot on subs and a good half time team by the looks of things.

Brilliant to see Rigg get more time. As others have said, Pritch going has opened up a bit more time for the lad, and I know who I’d rather see getting minutes

Sure we were told the players hate MB. Must of been a misprint.

A great afternoon for Sunderland as the play offs start to look distinctly possible again, our strength in depth could be the crucial factor ,

    Brilliant goals and great result.

Still have no idea why Roberts warranted a start on the right meaning Ba went to play in the middle. He’s not a number 10 as long as I have a hole in my arse.

Excellent result. We controlled the first half without moving the ball quickly enough and made a mess of their goal. But the first 25 minutes of the second half was as good as we've played all season, we took the game away from them. After that, the game was over, we could have stepped it up anytime we wanted and added more I felt.

Clarke was sensational as usual along with Dan Neil. Hjelde looks imposing at full back. Looks like he'll be a better fit at CB in time. Nice to see Jobe come on with purpose and Rigg to get more minutes. A shame that Mundle wasn't involved more, he was a bit too keen to impress if anything, but he looks really quick and with a good touch.

Finally, top performance from Beale. His team selection was correct, the way he adapted the tactics was correct and his substitutions were correct. That's 7 points from a possible 9 now and 3 winnable games coming up in the rest of Feb.

I think he's worth more tbh.

Capable English midfield players, like Neil, are gold dust.

I have to admit I wasn't convinced until this season tbh.

He's now cut out those dangerous spins too close to goal ...

... if he'd learn to strike a ball, from 25 yards, he'd be top class imo.

Don't think he has that in him. But closer he is composed. Great player.

This was game 1 of a crucial 4 game run iny opinion. I feel we need 10 points from them before a tough 3 game run. So that performance today has filled me with confidence. Plymouth are a good side and we dominated really. The good things about our squad is we dont need to stick with a winning team, indeed I dont think we should. Enough talent to rotate some attacking players week in week out.
