Well, it's the seaside again, so a song about sailors seemed just right. A more cautious prediction this time. I hope there isn't too much caution in Spurs' approach. Hopefully, the last hitherto missing peg will have been slotted in for the game: our beloved leader, Son, of course. Brighton should give us a good game - but hopefully not good enough to halt our progress! And hopefully, too, someone will have shown Vicario how to get to the ball (Cinderalla managed it!) and his defenders will be organised into a protection posse, if required. Or maybe the ref will also do his/her job and whistle up for anyone physically obstructing him, anyway. Who knows! COYS! (And yes, I know there's an indecent version of the song. Just try to omit it from your thoughts, chaps!) All The Spurs Fans Love Romero! When the Man United blag machine comes down to White Hart Lane, The Tottnam fans, with joy, Will sing out – Angeboy! Then there’s City, full of money, with Kyle Walker in a rage: We give them all a taste of class – still at an early stage! Chorus All the Spurs fans love Romero! All the fans love Pape Sarr! And there's something about Vicario (Well, you know what keepers are!). Brighton’s easy, we’re not queasy - Win three-nil and feel the joy! We’ve got Porro, we’ve got Son - Who needs Harry now? He’s gone! - Attaboy! Angeboy! Brennan’s partial to a goal or two (now that he’s found his feet) And Richie’s more precise, He’s shown that once or twice! And Micky runs like Usain Bolt, then he rings attackers’ bells! Bentancur, Bissouma, Maddison - our midfield now excels We have spent our money wisely - the scouts have done their job - Some players are quite new, But they’ll try hard for you - And it's just the same in league and cup, they’ll give us cause to smile - And soon they’ll play in Europe, in their white shirts all the while. Prediction: Spurs 3 Brighton 0 Scorers: Richarlison, Johnson, Romero Cheers, Spurf!
Spurs 4- 1 BHA Maddison, Porro, Sarr & Son Mitoma (or Ferguson off the bench) for them. Cheers Spurf C' mon you Spurs!!
