Chelmsford 18.15 Blazes Boylan looks a decent bet in this at 2/1 On debut, unfancied at 22/1, was bumped at the start, made late headway but never on terms (apparently hung left handed). On next run (over C&D) was smartly away and won in a very decent time, unchallenged, from the odds on fav. He carries 5lb more tomorrow. The main danger appears to be Al Wosol who also won over C&D on second run but his time was 1.29 secs slower and he carries 19lb more this time. If Blazes Boylan gets away smartly again I don't see how Al Wosol can catch him. Mutasawi looks fully exposed and doesn't seem to be improving and Macanudo looks the more interesting outsider having run well on latest outing, short of room when challenging. Red Troop ran a stinker on debut but has been gelded since. The only other runner is the unraced Takeityouremine, by Invincible Army out of a Barathea mare. Trained by Archie Watson, only he knows how he is likely to fare against his other runner Al Wosol The only things that give cause for some caution are, Archie Watson has 2 in the race, one being a debutant, and the other having the assistance of Holly Doyle this time
Well that's the ew option gone, 13/8 now. I thought he was the best outsider . Money also pouring in for Red Troop, 7/2. Not surprised to see Mutasawi and Al Wosol on the drift.
My day goes from bad to worse Allo Arry 6.00 Dundalk was 16s last night granted there are 3 non runners....I spent some time on the race but I thought it should be much shorter and the lack of any support put me off. The money has come for Allo Arry that's significant. 9/2 will have to do.
I see FOB pulled all his from Kempton today, hopefully due to just the ground. Newbury tomorrow looking risky. Small double on Nicholls last 2 races in Kempton if the ground is not atrocious. "That" Maxwell horses runs in the 4.15, be interesting to see how it runs but might be worth getting the value against it as its sure to drift.
Sorry, had this one on the wrong thread originally! In the finalé (16:50) at Kempton, Div. 2 of a Bumper over 2m on soft (heavy-in-places) ground, hopeful that The Bluesman can do the trick for Harry Cobden and the Paul Nicholls yard. 5/1 best price in most places, at time of writing, on both the ATR and Oddschecker sites. The NH events just look a bit too trappy for yours truly, can't seem to nail anything down, so will swerve them!
Macanudo wins. That race took about 1 second longer than when Blazes Boylan won unchallenged over C&D. He had to cut across from the outside today which probably made the difference. Seems a very consistent type
