    Genuinely great lad and excellent professional. Gutted to see him leave (even if the timing is right) and wish him every success in the future, even if that means Stoke do alright.

    I am not normally one for sentiment but Gooch should be made an honorary Mackem with a lifetime membership of our club,

    I’m officially Seaton but always say Seaham as I’m on the scruffy side of the A19 flyover anyway and not wanted up the posh end. There’s a canny few pullovers on the shoulders type ten bob millionaires up there, not worth a leet. :emoticon-0105-wink:
