Nah, they’re all ****, Hull are a terrible team & Filojean is a waste of space, nowhere near as good as Jimmy Summerville at Leeds & that player that’s good at Ipswich & the other one at Southampton!
Never heard such rubbish, typical Sky “pundits!”

The Tigers caught the eye with their recruitment in the winter window

Former Championship title-winner Jobi McAnuff believes Hull City were the winners of the January transfer window after a stunning month saw them sign seven players, with three in particular capturing the imagination.
Speaking on Sky Sports, McAnuff praised the club's work in what's a notoriously difficult window.
"Top drawer," McAnuff said of Zaroury. "I certainly feel Hull are the transfer window winners in the Championship and it is a real sign of intent when you look at the quality they've brought in. He (Zaroury) was magnificent in a really outstanding team in Burnley last year and again, I am really surprised, so surprised, not just him, but other players haven't featured as much this season.

"When you add that (quality) to Carvalho, (Liam) Delap, I think Liam Rosenior has to take an awful lot of credit for the style and the way he plays the game because now you're seeing Premier League clubs trusting him and Hull City to loan out those players. We've seen it so much in terms of the development of young talent in this country, and the opportunity the EFL does give those players and Liam's done a fantastic job there.

"For me, now, looking at who has done that business that's really going to elevate and push them into the top six, I'd say Hull are going to be that team. In the January window, you need players that are going to hit the ground running. Zaroury's done it, Ryan Giles was outstanding at Middlesbrough last year, so for me, that's the smart piece of that January business."

Clinton Morrison, meanwhile, backed up McAnuff's verdict on City and highlighted Fabio Carvalho as one of the key men moving forward for Rosenior's side.
"You saw what he did when Fulham went up, I thought he was outstanding. He's got that little bit of X-Factor, whether he plays out wide or in that number 10 role. I agree with Jobi, I think Hull have got a great chance. Liam Rosenior plays football the right way, he tries to get his team down playing football, they've made some good signings.
"He's an outstanding signing and I think he'll be really good. (Jaden) Philogene-Bidace has been outstanding and they've got him to come back. Hull have a great chance this season to get in the top six."

Did you listen to what they had to say? They were all very positive and they feel that the recruitment gives us a great chance of being in that top 6.

Just need it to.knit together and I am confident we'll go on a run, that's now down to Rosie to get the understanding there, and put the right players in the right positions.

Doubt we'll be loaning any more players to Shrewsbury Town for a while...

"Any player who's here, we look after them as if they're one of our own. I've just had a really good conversation with Brandon downstairs." Rosenior told Hull Live. "I have to say I'm disappointed with how he's been treated in certain ways because we try and live by honesty, values and integrity, and I don't think he's been treated the same way from his club there.

"That's something that I'll address moving forward, but Brandon comes in. He's a great lad, a great kid and he'll train with us and we'll do the best by him. Because he played for us in the cup (Carabao Cup against Doncaster Rovers), we couldn't let him out to another team on loan.

"I think it was a lack of communication in terms of Brandon that I would never do to a player which I think is poor, but we will look after Brandon the best we possibly can. He's an academy product. He loves the city. He loves this football club and while he's here we'll do the best by him."

A bit ironic now he's unlikely to get another start anytime soon, but well done Matty...

Yeah but he wins a months supply of chocolate hobnobs (his choice of milk or plain), so he should be happy.

Hull City considered the possibility of recalling striker Oscar Estupinan from his loan spell in Ligue 1 with FC Metz last month, before opting to bring in Noah Ohio from Standard Liege.

The Colombian frontman has since completed a loan move to Brazilian outfit Bahia with the South American club having the option to make that move permanent in the summer for a fee Hull Live believes to be in the region of £3m. The Tigers will also recoup £500,000 in loan fees which has been a big help in their quest to remain within Financial Fair Play limits.

Estupinan's move to Metz was hampered by injury, with the 27-year-old playing just six times and failing to find the back of the net. But given the situation with Delap, Rosenior admits it was a discussion within the corridors of power at the club. However, the need to free up finance in the budget was a key factor in not recalling him to Championship action.

"We had conversations about Oscar, we did, we had conversations when Liam picked up his injury and Aaron picked up his injury," Rosenior told Hull Live when asked if the thought of recalling the popular forward had been on his mind.

"We had conversations, but then we felt again, football decision, financial decision, it was better for Oscar to go elsewhere permanently and I wish him all the best. He's a lovely lad, he's a very, very good player as well."

Oscar must be on a proper packet.

I think we’d be a fair few points higher up the table had he stayed, he’s exactly what we’ve been missing in the box many times we’ve dropped points this season.

They've paid a £500k loan fee just to get him for six months, so they can't be short of a few quid.

According to Transfermarkt they’ve spent €17m on new signings without receiving a fee for any of their players.

They’re owned by the city group. So have cash behind them.

He's one of the most over-rated players we've had at City in ages. He had a good August/September but apart from that was average. We let him go because he's crap, and Metz sent him back for the same reason.

Metz sent him back because he was injured for the majority of his time with them.

Injuries happen, if they'd have thought he was decent and wanted to trigger the buy option, would they have sent him back? Of course not. It's not like it was a high buy option either

He would have been there in the box wherever the ball was bouncing around, it might have bounced off his arse, he might have fell over and it bounced off his back, or he might have boshed in a 25 yard curler off his weak foot. He gets in the right place at the right time and scores goals and that’s exactly what we’ve been lacking so many times we’ve the enemy pegged back but just can’t score.
