I'd like to see Omur coming on this week which I'm guessing he will do, hopefully when we're a couple goals up so he's not up against it from the start. If he does I fancy him to score one from outside the box and quickly become a fan favourite.
The only possible change I'd want is drop Tufan for an out and out striker. No reflection on Tufan I thought he did great but hopefully with this change we'd create more chances
An absolute should win game. Which with City always makes me nervous. Prove me wrong City, show what a muppet I am and go get 3 points. I don't care if its good, bad, ugly or boring I just want us to win. Time for Rosey to go on his longest winning streak as our manager.......
Same result is fine. Last week, with the talent City have, was like buying a Jaguar XJ220 and driving it exclusively on town roads in Wales. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
I think that is the one change that would in a way be tempting to make, but I don't think we'll make any. I think whoever replaces Tufan needs to be as good at our pressing game as he has been lately, and I'm not sure whether we've got anyone who fits the bill right now.
So which out and out striker? Sharp? Connolly? Ohio? One's not up to 90 minutes, one's probably still injured, one looked some way off the pace on debut. I think Rosie will stick rather than twist.
I didn't say on purpose to let others comment but for me it's between Sharp and staying with Tufan, assuming Connolly isn't fit. How is Sharp going to get match fit if he doesn't play? If he can't play 90 mins then take him off when he's struggling rather than just bring on for the last 15 mins
Tufan for a proper striker is the only change I'd make. First home game missed for me this season so I'm guessing it'll be 4/5-0 city
I think people are being harsh on Ohio after a brief cameo. I'm not saying he's going to bang 15 in for us but I thought he looked like he had something about him. He's definitely got some pace.
I just think he's young and will take a bit of time to settle. Would have been grate if we were 4-0 up at half time against Millwall especially with the good start so he could have come on at half time to get some playing time with the rest of the team. Will just have to do the 4-0 at half time against Swansea instead.
Probably a good game to start with him. Let’s be positive if Philogene and Carvalho are feeding in crosses for him he’s going to get enough chances to score. Off his arse, knee or bollocks something will go in. Then again with decent service he might just smash the perfect hat- trick.
