I'm half hour into a YouTube thing about his opinions on stuff (Triggernometry)
and I'm here to be shot at as I think he comes across as correct on most of what he says. I've already got my tin hat on so shoot away!

    No tin hat required.

You can't trust anyone whose opinion is based upon a ten second sound bite or the rage bait cess pit that is twitter.

Listening to controversial people in long form conversation gives you a better idea of their real opinions. You can't fake your way through two hours one to one.

Too many people get their opinions given to them by others without even realizing that it's happening.

    Barton's still a knobhead though ;)

    What do you mean?

I didn't disagree with anything you've said, didn't argue and didn't post an opinion.

All I did was let Barton speak for himself ...

... what do you mean by 'here we go', seriously.

Am I not allowed to post on your thread, if so just tell me and I'll stay off them ... no bother.

BTW the @ tags haven't worked on here for ages <laugh>

It was a joke! I suppose what I'm saying is that you normally disagree with me.

I don't automatically disagree with anyone mate, I 'like' posts from people I can't abide as long as they're either funny, original, interesting or informative ... keep posting and you'll crack it sooner or later <laugh>

That's gentle sarcasm btw, something that doesn't always come across on the internet <doh>

So instead of posting the video you posted why didn't you just comment on the thread I posted?
Or was that your opinion of him full stop?

Bloody hell man, it's just a bit of fun <doh>

I'll not post on your threads again, I didn't realise people were so touchy.

It's Joey Barton, what were you expecting?

You clearly have a view of the fella and are hiding behind "sarcasm and fun"
I was hoping for a reasoned view on the YouTube vlog I watched. I recommend you watch it...it might change your opinion of him. Or maybe not <laugh>

Of course I do, same as everyone else.

Just like you it's based entirely on never having met him, not knowing him and judging him by bits of the telly.

I didn't realise posting a funny clip was unreasonable.

TBH I don't care enough about Barton to get into an endless circle of nonsense with you.

I'll leave it to you to change other people's opinions.

    Take it easy.

Cos it came up as a suggestion on YouTube.
    Also I'm open minded.

    *instigates endless circle of nonsense*

*refuses to get involved in endless circle of nonsense*

No need to delete - he can't see it anyway.

I have seen and heard enough from him to not be interested in anything he has to say. Most of what I have heard him say is rubbish, and far from my idea of fair. My mind is closed on him, sorry.

Says more about you than him that mate.
Are you basing your assumptions of him being an ex mag? Going to jail for GBH?
I'm not even asking you to watch the vlog but if you did you might...just might agree with him on a few things.

Thought you had your tin hat on mate? Says more about me, not likely <laugh>

Sorry pal, I shouldnt have responded it seems. I cant stand the bloke, at all, because he is a bully, pure and simple in my book. I dont like bullys. Couldnt care less about him being a so called mag, best mate is a mag. If he is right on a few things good for him. I still have zero interest in his opinions. I could listen to a thousand other people who are also right on things, and at least I respect them.

    Over and out. <cheers>

He's a grotesque excuse for a human and his opinions are harmful and hold absolutely no value nor merit.

I don’t think women should be hired simply for the fact that they're women, but if they're good enough they should get the job the same way a man would.

The problem is there are too many poor pundits of either sex.

As for not playing men's football being a barrier to working as a presenter/pundit/commentator.

When he says women simply don't have a place in the men's game?
