Which players, apart from the obvious Dobbo and Alfie are up for a relegation battle? Aneke if fit Kanu Edun Ness Bakinson in terms of attitude rather than technical ability. imo
Reading win 1-0. Very bad news. Fleetwood win 2-0. Very bad news. Exeter win 2-1. Bad news. But thanks to our East London neighbours…. Port Vale lose 1-0. Good news. Although they still have two games in hand. We are even deeper in the brown stuff.
Yes, I realised that as soon as I looked properly at the table Reference to "two clear goals" now removed. Reading needed to beat us by a certain number of goals when they were 3 points below us. But now they're level the scoreline will be irrelevant. If Reading beat us by 13 clear goals Port Vale will only need a draw
Nor Cheltenham. Seriously though, we are now 1 point above the relegation zone and the team in that final place has two games in hand on us. We finished 10th last season under Thomas and Martin Sandgaard. What does that say about Charlie Methven and his consortium.
*F***** up 2 managerial appointments *F***** up numerous player recruitment *Clearly bulls****** the Yanks as they have now arrived here. *A deafening silence from Mary, Mungo and Midge, suggesting to me they are in the bad books. *At present, surely the lowest position in our history. A total disaster.
Perfect summing up. So the Yanks are here? good. Relegation certainly wasn't in the prospectus when Charlie boy was marketing the club. I hope to see Scott out the door soon, preferably feet first.
Don't worry boys, Mundane Mundell on the Shelf Stacker's site says that this is a "competitive league". The apologists will go to any lengths to defend the lowest position in our history.
I'll give you that. Bringing in Jones gives us a better chance, but we are in dire trouble. Too many fans think bringing in new players will turn the tide, whose to say they are an improvement.
Our only hope is that there are four worse teams than us. On recent form there aren’t, but some of Appleton’s decisions and how he used or didn’t use players were woeful, so there is a little bit of room for improvement there. But the players we bought or loaned in January are not an upgrade on what we already had. SE7 partners have still shown absolutely NOTHING to suggest that we will climb the table and unless they significantly increase the player budget we will continue to struggle in L1 at best.
