I've seen all kinds of reasonable looking arguments about 'flexibility' and other buzzwords ... ... whichever way they're presented they all boil down to 'spend more money'. Even if they're right it's irrelevant, the club will do it their way. You can either go along with 'the model' or jump around getting all angry at Speakman or twisting because we didn't sign Keiffer Moore. Either way you're neither accepting mediocrity nor being proactive ... ... we're just football supporters, that's all.
****show. Two Januarys in a row which Blackburn have messed up a deal on deadline day, think it was Lewis O'Brien last year.
Speakman out! BTW, why is it that the likes of WMS, and the angry brigade, never bother posting things that reflect well on Speakman or the club ... ... even when Stewart proved to be a crock they couldn't hold their hands up and admit they were wrong. But, ffs, don't even try suggesting there's an agenda.
See on the bbc this morning Man U are following our system from now on with youth development and also ten hag won’t be involved in transfers as much. We are ahead of time, ahead of time.
Probably means their new investor is tight with his money and is following KLD s model here, according to some
Like I said the other day, I went to a do for the new Southend owners. The two main things they talked about were getting back into the league and that they were going to run the club sustainably (but it'll take 5 years to reach that point). People involved in these things can see that this is how football clubs will need to be run in the future. KLDs got us on the right path.
The ones who get in me local who are aligned with WMS have now stopped talking to me cos I told them my point of view
Seems to be lots of data but not very much in terms of analytics there. There's zero context, without which data means nothing at all. Who are we comparing those numbers with? Where does the 40 million valuation come from?
The club, like every club, make mistakes, no question ... ... you've criticised them, so have I and everyone else. But there has to be balance otherwise it's an agenda. The problem is that, once you start a 'KLD/KS/MB out' campaign you can't back down without making yersel look a twat ... it's a kind of toxic Pandora's box. When I did my doorman training their rule number one was 'don't back someone in a corner they look foolish in'. It's common sense because their only options are to back down or fight back. If they have their mates watching they'll lash out and keep lashing out. That's exactly what the angry brigade have done to themselves ... ... and it's a club they claim they'll love until they die All bad info, even wild gossip, is accepted as credible. All good info is regarded as incredible then relentlessly questioned and pulled to pieces. Ad infinitum .....
I don't think you understand what analytics means. There's plenty of context. They are being compared to eachother. If you wouldn't want 40m for them three you don't understand player valuations. Would it kill you to say anything positive? You talk about wanting to be balanced but you aren't, you find the absolute negative in everything. It's tiring and it's tedious.
Comparing them with each other we're comparing a in house developed player, a 2m player and another 2m player. That's what they cost. But then that would mean the 'free' player is better because Neil's the best player. Why would you compare three players who cost less than 5m in total and work out from that that they're worth 40m? Shouldn't we be comparing their stats to other players from outside the club whose cost we also know? Shouldn't we be comparing their stats with 10m plus players to get an idea of how they measure up? I tell you what's tedious - the hive mind's idea that any kind of discussion of anything that isn't just confirmation of whatever bullshit it wants us to blindly believe is negative.
I don't know. How do their stats compare with other players in the division? Then you've got to add the unknown factors in - are they likely to improve and if so by how much? Let's be honest - if 'Newcastle Analytics' put something like this up we'd all take the piss out of it.
That page constantly posts league wide player comparisons. It really isn't hard to do a tiny bit of research. I've just went through 10 pages of your posts. Zero positive comments. That doesn't sound like you are trying to start discussion to me. Plenty of posters, including myself, have been ultra critical of the club in recent times yet they find balance and praise them when it's earned. Stop hiding behind the lie of you wanting to start discussion because you don't.
I reply positively 54% of the time. No further context or explanation required, apparently. Accept it or you're being negative. Exile Analytics.
As I just said which you ignored (one of your specialities), they have posted plenty of league wide comparisons.
