I was trying to say that there's only been one Club for me but I don't always put it across correctly.
A Change of ****ing user name would be nice, two club git! The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
Think the medical term is, low self esteem. Although, anyone who follows city, no matter where they hail from, can be accused of being glory supporters.
What's happening at Blackburn Rovers? Apparently, JDT wanted to walk away in the summer, but was persuaded to stay. Are they in a financial meltdown?
Someone once asked George Best what are the two best clubs in London? and he replied 'Tramps and Stringfellows'.
I better head off to Brisbane Road lol, at least it's a decent local club and nearest to where my Mum popped me out. I totally get the plastic point, I have a mate from Kent for instance who supports Leeds but has never even been there! I give him **** regularly. However there are others who have good ties to a club even though not born there - me for instance, born in the East End (yes I'm technically a cockney lol) but we moved to Ferriby when I was very little, so really didn't know anything else and certainly when someone asks I say I grew up in Hull and proud of it. I was the youngest, whereas the rest of my family support Spurs.
The irony of a club owned by Saudi Arabia doing this. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/debate/...e-fan-banned-gender-critical-trans-views.html
The lady in question in the article above being interviewed. This will be giving Pantsdown and his merry men ideas.
Didn’t know where to put this, but here’s a funny clip with Deano telling a Robbie Savage story… https://www.instagram.com/reel/C1ok0OyMEjI/?igsh=MWM0azQwcjVndXF1cw==
Neil Warnock takes swipe at Rangers ball boys as Aberdeen boss finally loses proud record Probably the most ironic statement ever from the king of ball boy ****aboutery at Sheff U
She's committed a hate crime on social media and so been banned. The same as if you or I published racist or homophobic things publicly. Clubs are obligated to make the stadiums safe places for all. That's the law now and as a lesbian, and thus protected by this legislation, she should have known better. Can't pick and choose which laws you obey, without some sort of comeback.
A hate crime? She expressed an opinion. She hasn’t been prosecuted so no crime was committed. How ironic that in the country of the club’s owners there would be no openly LGBQT fans, including her, in the stadiums or anywhere else.
When a hate crime is reported police should carry out a proportionate, sensitive and thorough investigation, taking into account the rights and freedoms of all parties, without unnecessarily restricting any individual’s right to free speech. From the College of Policing. Hate Crime Guidance. Oh to be looking over the shoulder of plod as he types up his report. He said, she said. Ah, bollox she said they said, ah bollox, they said they said. The one in the dress said, and the one in the dress replied. Stuff this, why can't I investigate a murder or two?
Beyond the Mail headline, she didn't just express an opinion, she repeatedly trolled the official Facebook page of the club, that was having a specific diversity drive to make transpersons feel included. Not being prosecuted doesn't mean a crime hasn't been committed and besides, if I defecate on your living room floor and the police don't prosecute, it doesn't mean that you cant ban me from your house. Changing times, changing opinions, changing laws. 35 year ago, most would have tittered when you shouted 'the lino is an uphill gardener' during a game. Now all would admonish you and suggest a more correct insult. She knew full well how it works, she was repeatedly warned, yet didn't stop online, so her problem.
Amazing how some people get away with expressing vile sentiments on social media but others don’t. Must depend on the targets of your opinions.
I hear you, but it's life. If you, or I, trolled a Hull City Kick it Out campaign and repeatedly posted racist things on the Facebook page under our names, we'd both expect a knock at the door and a stadium ban.
And so we should be for expressing racist sentiments. But saying someone with a penis is not a woman is a fact. The irony is she is a lesbian and would not be tolerated in the country of the club’s owners. Neither would the one person whose complaint brought this about.
I don't have strong opinions either way on it - it would seem that there's been men dressing as women since Roman/Ancient Greek times, so it's been going on now for a couple of thousand years. Have to choose your battles in life and going against an FA directive towards clubs is going to result in a ban. I doubt very much that a man, who thinks he's a woman, was having much of an impact on her life - she doesn't look like a professional athlete, so she was stupid to risk everything she valued by campaigning.
