And if other teams had not dropped points they would also be further up the table every team drops points any team can beat any team in this league.
Surely those are the reason we are NOT comfortably in 5th with a ten point gap. So far we've "only" been good enough to be in 6th by the skin of our teeth. We've now strengthened both the squad and the first 11, so it seems, so we should see the results improve and hopefully take it to the next level.
The pitch looking like we’ve kept cattle on it and the egg chasing due to start won’t help our cause either
Hull Live running with an article claiming Philogenes goal v Millwall should have been disallowed for hand ball. They have found a referee to give a quote that VAR would have ruled that Jaden handled the ball. No-one appealled for handball. No-one has mentioned hand ball before, but our local caring rag of a newspaper has. You couldn't make it up.
I haven't even heard any Millwall fans claiming that So pleased we don't have VAR anyway , it ruins the experience of fans actually at the game
And herein lies a problem with LR for me.... is he too reliant on individual pieces of brilliance from Jaden, Carvalho, Zaroury, Omur, Delap, or do you find a way to 'work' a brilliant team goal and is his coaching capable of that. For LR to become the top manager he shows signs he might become in the years to come, he like Robbins, McKenna has to find a way.
They've found a referee? All Championship games are reviewed and they report on all the decisions they think the ref got wrong, the Norwich one said they should have had a player sent off and the foul given against Connolly was an error.
Watch the highlights. Their defenders did appeal. At least 3 of them. (but I agree with the gist of the post ... why would HDM focus on the negative like that).
So you are agreeing with them? The goal should have been disallowed and our main local media outlet, Hull Live (HDM) should be highlighting the fact?
I thought Jaden Handled himself well. A good use of a tactical advantage used arm in front of chest lino cant see right side of body from ref he cant see, that is good tactics .
Noticeable that Millwall’s best 2 chances - the one where Allsop came out, collided with Greaves due to their player pushing Jacob in the back before being awarded a free kick and Bradshaw’s last minute effort firing straight at Allsop whilst off balance were all created by a long ball down the middle and made our defending look far from comfortable. I presume training sessions at Cottingham don’t practise defending against this type of ‘agricultural’ attacking play thus creating the aforementioned chances for the opposition.
I think this is one of those cliche generic football fan complaints that just because you have good players and/or lots of possession you should be having lots of chances and scoring lots of goals when that really isn’t the case.
Having watched it a few times, I suspect that VAR would have ruled it out. But this just illustrates, once again, how **** VAR is, as it was obviously unintentional and thus the goal should be allowed to stand.
