There’s no argument at all that these loans will be ideal for Jewi, Triantis and Mayenda.

They will get way more minutes. Mayenda is a great roper prospect the loan can accelerate him a year.

Mayenda sounds like he has a really good attitude from those quotes. Fingers crossed he enjoys Scotland.

A lad on twitter posted this. He is deffo having a dig at some of the less sensible "fans" methinks.

Why isn’t KLD putting his hand in his pocket and splashing the cash, zero ambition! He should be making transfers like we did in 2016/17. We spent some serious money then and look where it got us!

Would be interesting to see how much or rather how little we recouped for this set of star buys for over £27 million.

Jesse Lingaard is signing for Fc Seoul, im very suprised no Championship clubs made a move for him. He was excellent at West Ham 2 years ago.

    There goes his Korea.

Think it would be his wages that stopped championship sides coming in for him. Would be a great player at this level though

Context is a thing though. That 27m was absolutely **** all to spend for a team trying to stay in the premier league whereas 27m spent on us now could probably get us promoted. The situations aren't realistically comparable and I'm 100% certain anyone would wanted more activity in the window didn't want to sign Darron Gibsons etc

Yeah he did seem to come across as the kind of player that would choose money over playing football. I suppose with a face like that he needs to find a way to get the lasses interested

Reminds me of the classic Peter Crouch answer to what would you be if you weren’t a footballer?… “a virgin”

**** that’s scary, if they don’t go up and the new rules come in, which they will, they need to dump £8m+ of wages, that’s quite a bit of playing staff.

Doesnt look great does it. They have pushed again in 23/24 by the looks of it with a net spend of about £5m. Not sure where wages will be at though. A few loanees there now. Probably one of quite a few playing with fire this season.

This is what amazes me when people keep raving on about KLD not wanting to spend money. He's spent his money on making the club self sufficient. He is still well on course to achieve the PL in 5 years which is what he stated.
I've also kept on banging the drum about it will take 5 years before this model can take shape properly, have all the cogs in place where for every first team player we have a ready made replacement and some even younger who is the replacements replacement.
Soon most teams will have to look at this model, just look at the mags they have the richest owners in the world yet can't spend a penny.
We are already 2.5 years ahead of most other teams, but still some think KLD is a young kid who knows **** all.
Then again when you see some of the comments that are being made I'm not surprised these people can't get their head around the model
