To be fair he played 3 terrible passes in a row that could easily have got us in trouble. His endeavour can never be questioned but he is a bit limited, he works very well with what he has for the most part.
Another win's another win, we looked good for the first 30 minutes, and they started to nullify us, neither team particularly looked threatening for the remaining 60. The first game for a couple and Jaden's first back, fingers cross they start to click. Ohio, very raw, can see how Sharp should help his development.
Blame Philo as much if not more. He faints to go one way then runs the other ..... except those couple of times he didn't, which made Coyles pass look bad
Do you remember your posts from earlier on in the season? I imagine you’re still cleaning egg from your face.
Hull boss Liam Rosenior told BBC Radio Humberside: "We're really pleased to win the game, first and foremost - that's what we're here to do. "I felt during passages of the first half and early in the second half the lads were showing the potential that's in this team, which I'm really excited about. "I knew we needed that second goal, but the way that the back line defended was really good. "Sometimes in the Championship you have to find a way. That's two 1-0 wins (back-to-back) and I think we can only get better. "The next bit for us - the cherry on top - is that we make sure that when we're on top and in control of games that we score more goals." Millwall head coach Joe Edwards told BBC Radio London: "It was a difficult game. Hull are a very good team and have some very good individual players. "They gave us a lot of problems in the first half and we didn't respond that well to it. When we had our turn with the ball we were quite sloppy with it. "It was a tough start for us and we couldn't quite get our foot in the game at any point in the first half. "We knew at half-time that we had to come out and get better, which I felt we did. There was very little between the two teams in the second half."
We looked like a team that had ability but not great organisation after the first 10 minutes. I guess that's to be expected. I was impressed by our ability to overcome the physicality of Millwall and not really give them any good chance (except for at the end). Ref was absymal like so many games this season. Looked a pen on Tufan for me. Also a word for the Millwall fans. The daft racists.
Geez, we made hard work of that, against one of the worst sides I've seen at ours this season and I've seen them all. Wall were slightly better than Rovrum. PS...Where the hell do they find these refs? Some of his decisions for both sides were bizarre. How the feck does Morton get out of the way when the ball is booted directly at him....Nutter refs are fecking up my enjoyment.
I didn't think the ref was abysmal, I don't think there were really any big decisions to be made in the game. But I did think he was one of those boring, conservative refs you often get in the EFL who just seem **** scared of a goal happening so give a defensive free kick whenever possible. Seemed like every time two players collided he'd give a free kick to the defending team whichever it was.
Oh, and what the bloody hell was that policing nonsense with penning the Millwall fans into a block and then bringing them as close to the bridge as possible. Almost seemed designed to cause trouble.
Liam was questioned on Delap on RH, and seem to suggest there was a small possibility that the injections he has may see him back sooner than expected. Said will know more about the prognosis next week
Felt like there was a pull on his shirt from the East where I was sitting. Would be interested to see it again.
This was from his son That was amazing, thank you so much city fans, and the Millwall fans. You made me and my family very emotional. That one was for you, Dad, fly high mate https://x.com/jackcoup2000/status/1753826929457717483?s=46&t=DAxwWj15XaMBwCrrY9gKFQ
Never had to long and was his first game so hopefully he will get used to the team and give it a real go i am sure he is very capable.
The way we started you thought this is going end up 3 or 4 nil However I was grateful to get through it with the win. I thought before the game if we walk off the pitch with the 3 points after all the hype and build up then it would be so important. That’s how it turned out it gives everyone time to get to know each other and hopefully we will build on this and see improvement with each game that follows. Very Important win and 3 very valuable points.
Today was like making love to a beautiful woman, you get her in bed, give it a few thrusts, do the deed and spend the rest of the night feeling her up trying to get another stiffy.
Anass looks a real gem i think he is going to be a real game changer in future games for us i can't believe he was not getting a look in at Burnley.
