I don’t even stay pissed off for a long now. Like a lot of you I’m sure, I’ve just became so used to disappointments. We go 1 up and I hardly celebrate anymore cause we can never hold on to leads (only Villa as of late where we have) absolute let downs.

Yes. It’s time to move on from these players in the summer.

We need an absolute beast of a transfer window.

Do we give Howe the season next?

Howe is more likely to build his team around them.

Bruno was crap and so was Schar.

Everyone was. We conceded 4 against Luton at home.

No one comes out with any credit here.

Howe can’t be excluded either. He’s ****ing up more and more.

Im starting to question his intentions.

I would have expected to beat Luton at home in the Bruce days, nevermind now. Still in shock that we just conceded FOUR goals at home to Luton.

    And 3 to Forrest.

    And that Luton away game.

These results are just not acceptable.

I personally wouldn't. His limitations are exactly the same here as was exposed at B'mth, he's demonstrated repeatedly that he just never learns, whether it's in tactics, player selection or the debate on the volume of injuries under his watch. There was some interesting bits in the Athletic about him keeping an psychologist away from the first team and his inactivity on the head physio being replaced, only to then replace him with yet another Bournemouth mate.

Managers/coaching is outside of FFP. I'd give him the season but I'd have Amorim and his team lined up, as well as a £50m purchase of Ignacio to get Schar away from the team. Would send Hall back to Chelsea now and see if I could get a Udogie type signing. Sell Mongstaff, Almiron, Wilson and Murphy and replace with actual quality.

All we seem to do under Howe is go for Brits. Not one team at the top of the league prioritises Britishness. So, yes, I'd get rid. He is never winning a trophy at this - or indeed any - club, you just know it. He should be taken on by England to replace Southgate.

I was expecting things to improve from Today and that was despite the win vs villa that wasn't as impressive as people made out. They basically worked two **** goals and an own goal.

Howe is going to be getting sacked before this season is finished at this rate .... wants the run ? 2 wins in like 11 or something in the league.

    Meanwhile Villa smashing Sheff UTD.

I think the players and coaching staff just expected to win today.

    There’s a serious problem here.

What do the owners do. They have pumped 400 million into this. We are mid table. And have lost as many as we have won.

    Howe isn’t learning.

    He is letting himself down.

He doesn't do anything during games... he just stands looking like a deformed baby doing nothing.

He’s a one trick pony and doesn’t seem to learn from the mistakes. Or even try something different.

He’s like he is playing Football manager and playing the exact same formation week in week out with the same player and expecting something different.

He waited till we were 4-2 down to make changes. We scored 2.

Then it’s almost like we stopped and accepted the point.

There was a point in the 10 minutes of extra time when our players literally stoped.

The season has to be played out and then they need to stop letting Howe having any say in transfers whatsoever and tell him to pick the likes of Livramento and Hall.

These managers are all the same when it comes to favouritism, but I don't think there's a more useless manager than Howe when it comes to seeing games out or in game management in general.

He needs replacing before the start of the next phase of the build... it's clear.

That’s the positive mindset going to ****.

Now back to reality and seeing things for how they are.

Howe has taken us as far as he can.

No more sentimental bullshit. He’s done well. But the rest of the PL have got their **** together.

but the ref awarded a free kick out side the box after a flag from the Lino
the Lino only flagged for a foul not a pen by raising his flag - he didn't put the flag across his chest indicating a pen
how come the ref didn't go to the monitor ?, he just accepted his decision was wrong from VAR

yet VAR did not get involved in several decision that would have favoured Newcastle
I said at the start of the thread that these officials are the least experienced in the league and boy did it show
shocking performance by the East stand linesman who could never keep up with play
and a Referee who was blind or just chose to ignore fouls on the Toon
