Looked unplayable at times in the first half. Couldn't keep up the pace but saw the game out well.

It's all about the points at the end of the day.

Select your top three, in order.

Philogene - looked a class above
    Tufan - great overall performance
Alsopp - may not have had a huge amount to do but he looked absolutely solid and some good takes from set pieces

special mention for Morton - solid game

Tufan - magnificent performance. Doesn’t want to give up his shirt easily.
Philogene - so good to have him back. Not as effective on right but a cool finish.
Any of the starters could be 3rd but will give to Zaroury for the shot that led to Philo’s goal.

At times, we looked like we could beat anyone.

    Philogene
    Tufan

Tough choice for the 3rd pick.

Philogene. Excellent throughout after such a long lay off and decisive goal
Tufan. Covered so much ground & won/held the ball up well
Greaves. Didn’t think he put a foot wrong whole game

Really happy with result and clean sheet, but we need to create more clear cut opportunities (and score) if we want to keep in top six. Good start with new players being bedded in.

    Tufan
    Carvahlo
    Morton

Everyone played well enough, tidy in possession and solid at the back, lack of urgency going forwards tho. Ref wasn't that bad, but felt he let a lot of tacticals go which just allowed them to carry on fouling

Coyle. One hell of a shift and crucial tackles, interceptions, clearances. Looked bad from a couple of 'stray' passes to Philo, but that's as much to do with Philo fainting runs forward then coming back for the pass .... except a couple of times he didn't).
Tufan. Again, one hell of a shift.
    Morton.
Hard to pick 3rd. Can't go with Philogene as, although it was a nice finish and he looked a threat, the reality was that there really wasn't much end product from all his possession and touches). Allsop sound.

We had to stay strong when after a good start we lost momentum .
    1. Jaden P - nice goal and was his usual tricky pest of a nuisance.
    2. Greaves - a rock at the back .
    3. Alsop - another clean sheet , commanded his area . Now knows he has competition.
Tufan worked really worked really hard
Morton worked hard and tried to pass us into decent positions.
    Coyle another rugged display .
Not outstanding today but 3 points.
    Well done boys .

We do look like a team of midgets though when up against a big Millwall side. A couple of their players wouldn’t have looked out of place on an NFL team.

Interesting that lots of us gave Tufan MotM yet Baz at HDM only gave him 6/10. Tad harsh I thought.

He did run a lot today, but he's meant to be so much more than that. An awful lot of times the attack ended with him. Our attacking players often have to work in tight spaces or near the touchline and he really struggles with that and coughs up possession most of the time. It frustrates me that we so rarely see the skillful attacking player he's made out to be.
