Armstrong at 10?!!

 

I was thinking more on the left so he can make those runs on the break. Would like to see Chair directly behind in that 10 role, and then Smyth on the right. Won't happen however!

 

These chicken shaggers are ****. We’d be 8-0 up if Armstrong didn’t play like he was on gear.

 

Started brightly, Cook just wide with a header from a decent cross

 

Armstrong one on one and fu.cks it with a heavy second touch

 

Urgh, that was bad.

 

Armstrong is not the answer up front....one on one with keeper and runs it straight into his arms

 

That was horrendous. He’s a professional footballer.

 

I really want Armstrong to do well but he can't keep fluffing these one on ones. His touch in these positions really is poor. I would caveat that we don't really have anyone else who could really get into these positions.

Frey at centre forward, with Smyth and Armstrong either side.

 

We need to get Willock off.

I'm not sure what Smyth has to do to steal his place.
