In a poorish game, we’ve been slightly the better side, need to improve though and take advantage when we go forward

Sinclair Armstrong booked for leaving his foot in and catching the defender Wharton

 

Armstrong yellow for applying a bit too much pressure on their defence

 

It’s a good job they left their shooting boots at home that’s twice they’ve managed to hit row z

Not entirely a bad performance but poor decision making holding us back.

 

Apparently we've had 10 shots?

Yet never looked like scoring.

 

They appear to have a game plan which seems to entail stifling our forward play and hitting us on the break, we have defended adequately but need to get the ball forward quicker, I’d have Willock off and Smyth on straight away and big Frey on after 15 for Armstrong who appears to be struggling to recover after his forward runs.

 

We have committed 1 foul and collected a booking they have committed 8 as well, also for a single booking according to the stats

 

Tough one though, because almost all our attacking play came from Armstrong on the break. Would like to see him as one of three behind Frey. Would like Frey and Hayden on for Dykes and Colback.

 

As usual: a decent striker and we would be comfortably winning.
