Musselburgh for me tomorrow a trip to the local gaff....too much to drink very likely. I like Inis Oirr 11/2 in the stamina sapping Edinburgh National at 14.15 Good luck to @NassauBoard and @stick with Rock Danse
Few I like and hope will win at Leopardstown. Jetara 11/4 - 1.20 Majborough 5/1 - 1.50 Don't think we will see much upset in tbe big ones, if GDC is in the same form he should reverse form with FOS. Sophie Leech actually has one over in a handicap too. Fair play to her, hopefully runs well. Best of luck anyone having a go.
I thinks Predators Gold in that 1.20 will be very hard to beat. A lot of people very sweet on him for this and the Albert Bartlett. My issue with Jetara would be she's on the go a while, 13 runs already. Getting 7lbs or not, she might get a shock here, Mares going into Open G1s. Jessie too, with all that went on, has really had no winners or form. Someone could look it up but Jetara was probably her only winners the last 3/4 months. Lots of money for her this evening though but not for me, but good luck. Depending on the jabs, I think Paul Nicholls could have a good day with 7 live chances apart from the National.
Wonder what the Bumper King thinks of this madness. Sat/Sun DRF Bumpers - To my amateur eye My Great Mate 33/1 has the beating of Redemption Day, and if ADTS is not 100% then who knows, happy with place money. The Mares then on Sunday, think the Fav is false, giving 3lbs to the selection and then Patrick being another 3lb liability! The Kielys might not have won the previous days Bumper, but might have another good one here. Ma Belle Etoile 33/1. I think she will improve for the slightly better ground, better than Heavy anyway! Hot race, Baby Kate, and the other French sounding thing.
Whilst owners Bernadine and Sean Mulryan will undoubtedly be focused on Fast Or Slow in the Irish Gold Cup, I'm sure they will also be watching the 14.07 at Wetherby where their Walk On Quest runs for Lucinda Russell. The Mulryans have had some really nice horses over the years including City Island, winner of the Ballymore Novices Hurdle at the 2019 Cheltenham festival. That would have especially pleased Sean Mulryan as he is Chairman of the Ballymore Group. The Mulryans have the majority of their horses with Martin Brassil but also a few with Willie Mullins, Henry de Bromhead, Joseph O'Brien and Edward O'Grady and it is really nice to see them send one to the lovely Lucinda - whatever the reasons behind it. Good luck to Walk On Quest and the Mulryans today.
Leopardstown 16,10 The Big Chap 10/1 e/w four places Sandown 15,10 Scamallach Liath 7/1 bet365, 13/2 others
All the very best Stick/Nass with Rock Danse. Looks a competitive race and sadly RD is further saddled with the burden of my dosh! He doesn’t lack resolve .
On last year’s form, ADTS is free gift week at around even money. You would have expected him to be around 4/9. So do the bookies know something?
All the best with Rocky @NassauBoard & @stick main thing he comes home safe and sound It's certainly a very competitive heat you've picked for him and he's 66/1 outsider of the field this morning. Surprisingly both the Henderson and Nicholls horses are drifting like barges but there is money around for Classic Anthem - with whom Rocky doesn't have that much to find as Stick says. Rocky seriously overpriced and Hills are paying 4 places - definitely worth a dabble.
Have to agree Tam - nothing in the field looks within a stone of him on all known evidence. Maybe he will need the run but I'd still be very surprised if he were beaten.
6/5 now. Looks like a wheelbarrow job but, why is he not entered at Cheltenham? The horses he has beaten (Fact File and Tulley Hill) haven't exactly franked the form. Redemption Day was btn just under 3l by current Champion Bumper fav and You Oughta Know is currently 4th fav for that. Wouldn't surprise me if he drifted a bit more
A few i like at big prices today. 1.20 - Dancing City 1.50 - Kala Conti 2.25 - Found a Fifty 3.00 - Maxxuum 3:35 - Fastorslow 4.10 - Rock Gold 4.40 - Jeroboam Machin Elsewhere i fancy Colonel Harry in the dipper and Inis Oirr in the Edinburgh National. Added in Stick and Nass' horse too. 10p e/w doubles for my interest today
