could be some teams getting really hit soon if the don't sort it out, loads over it, newcastle are also over it aswell new rules potentially coming in where if your over it by a penny you get 5points and then every million after that you could get another point on top, no wonder all the teams have been worried spending in the prem
It’s about time…..actually it was time ages ago clubs can’t say they weren’t warned. Will some if our more demanding fans might take a step back and have a think.
The chat is that the new rules will be more relaxed to take into account the massive inflation in transfer fees
might come more relaxed in a way you can spend more, but if you go over that's what's the talking about bringing in so every club knows how the will be affected if the go over
VAR will be brought in to go over past events of the last 30 years to find a reason for any punishment not to apply to them...pretty much what they do now when a goal is scored against them.
It simply doesn't exist for the top clubs. If you're pouring so much money in that it's improving the PL brand that they can sell then they bend over backwards to look the other way. If you're an Everton or Burnley, however, they'll **** you as soon as look at you.
Must be very close to being signed off judging by the window. Clear and decisive ‘this will happen’ is exactly what’s needed.
Same with the championship, think a lot of teams are going to be in the **** come next year with the new rules. Something we might capitalise on hopefully
be interesting to see how close hull and ipswich are with the wage to turnover, i think we are at 65% and are one of the lowest i think next season it can't be above 85% so in theory the should be a few fire sales if hull and ipswich don't go up
I’d be for giving clubs a cash alternative to a points deduction. For every pound over the cap they pay that same amount to every other prem club.
A squad wage cap would stop it dead. Do you want a 15 man squad with everyone on two hundred grand a week, all great players but an injury and a suspension and you're playing the kids, or pay a bit less for a bigger squad?
Of course it would but that would be fair which would go against everything Financial fair play rules are trying to achieve.
I’m over the moon with the way the club is compared to the last few owners. If that 65% is correct it’s an unbelievable achievement and shows that you don’t need to take financial risks.
