Bumrah showing why he is one of the best attacking bowlers in the world at the moment. At times, just unplayable.

Every time I leave the room a wicket falls. Hope it works when India bat again.

With our attacking style of play this is often going to happen. 110-1 to all out in pretty short order.
We'll also see wonderful victories like we did in the first test.

Bunrah is a very special bowler, this will be an even bigger miracle if we pull it out the bag. Can't see it happening this time unfortunately

A pretty good bowling performance by England to have India 230-8 in their second innings. Trailing by 373, so a win is highly unlikely.

Might be an entertaining chase, though.

Got plenty of time left. Not that that will make a difference to our approach of course

Once again an exciting last innings and a result guaranteed. To chase this one down would be yet another high point, though bit much to expect…..

The odds on offer against England winning from here are just 11/2. Should be 16/1 really, but this is Bazball.

Bumrah's first over shows how difficult this is going to be, with one keeping low and another taking off.

Would have been nice to reach stumps without a loss.

Never dull with this England test side.
I admit to struggling with Bazball on occasions, but it is such a breath of fresh air.

Very odd sending Rehan in as a nightwatchman, only for him to play shots and not try to protect Crawley at all. Can't quite work that one out.
    He just about survives.
    67-1.
    Unlikely win is still on....just.

Rehan has taken on the nighthawk role that Stuart Broad had.... no longer a nightwatchman but someone who just carries on as if nothing changed......
    England rewriting test cricket.......
Win or lose it will be fun...... c'mon lads.

Should be 33/1 really ! How many teams have chased that total to win a test match, especially out there ?

Just looked it up - only four times in Test history, and never in India. England chased down 378 against India at Edgbaston in 2022 of course, but those odds (down to 4/1 now) are ridiculously short. McCullum and Stokes have changed Test cricket though, and nothing now seems impossible.

Seen many remarkable wins over the years, not least the last test, but if they chase that total down on that wicket against Bumrah and Ashwin then this will be the most remarkable win of all ! Doesn't help that Root may have a damaged finger, we need him to get a substantial score if its to be done

Ffs a miracle catch from Sharma at slip to remove Pope, just stuck out his hands and it somehow stayed on them. He couldn't believe it and neither could anyone else ! We were going along nicely there and had seen off Bumrah. 132-3 now. Crawley has to go on abd make a bit ton and Root, Bairstow , Stokes and Foakes have to back it up. If the ball doesn't start reversing when Bumrah comes back later we still have a chance, Pope was playing super aggressively and it took an unreal catch to remove him.

Root reverse sweeps 1st ball for 4 then tries it again and mishits it off glove just over Shsrma at slip. He has to knuckle down here and make a score, been out of nick but has to show his class and stand up. Don't just chuck his wicket away when the games in the melting pot, India will be rampant if we lose another wicket now !
