I bought tickets for my daughters in the Ninian for £15 each for Tuesday.

If City are promoted then I'd be happy paying more, not significantly more, but 5% or so would be realistic.

However if they are not promoted, to extend the freeze would serve as sending a message to the fans that the club cares about them, and do not see them as a cash cow rather they are the lifeblood of the club and their loyalty deserves recognition in the form of not raising prices.

If not then as you say, there will inevitably be a drop in uptake next season if not promoted.

Surely it's better to have decent crowds paying the same price as now rather than the stadium with huge swathes of empty blue (?) seats.

Very honest but i knew that anyway. I have stopped putting money into football clubs coffers this season after 56 years of continually supporting the swans and wales. I came to my senses during the middle of last season where i read on the same page of a magazine that Rooney was to earn £300k per week and in another column food banks are growing at an alarming rate and families are living in poverty. That upset me to think of all that money going into football when it could completely solve the fast growing poverty. £35 to watch a game of football is obscene and i am now one of the growing crowd of regular supporters that will never pay another penny towards anything to do with football and sport in general.... It's a rip off and disgusting and i hope others will follow and clubs end up bust including the swans if there is no change in the future...

Quite surprised there are a lot of us no longer prepared to part with hard earned money simply because of club loyalty. I gave up half way through last season feeling totally disenfranchised by a club I've supported since the mid seventies. Put this season's ticket money towards a great holiday in Cyprus.

one has a choice, spend a lot of money to go to a match or watch it on tv and go for a holiday. I said to my wife about 5 years ago that every year we are going on an overseas holiday, all about priorities so have done 3 cruises, Bali twice NZ twice and hong kong, china and macao. obviously I do not live over your way but I would not spend the amount of money to attend a match when I can watch it on tv, next jan/feb Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia cruise and july back to Bali and I can watch all I want on tv. I can understand the fans wanting to be there but the pricing is getting silly, lucky you are not Arsenal fans

I would rather be at a match than not but price rices have risen to an unacceptable level due to players demanding excessive wages and other benefits. Im not prepared to support that while there are so many families in poverty in our own country with wales being the worst.....they can **** off from now on....

If we had not got investment we could not pay two tax bills and were going into administration, by luck we got that and £1.5 and £1 million were paid to the tax man. £16 million to Hamaan and £15 million for Sala. £100 million to change to blue. No one is forcing you to pay to see the game the same as no one is forcing you to pay to see a film at the cinema. Save your pennies and buy the club then you can moan as much as you like. It is entertainment, it is trivial in real terms. Everyone knows everything and no one thinks they can`t run a club better even tho they will never own a club. The club is losing money every month and Tan pays the shortfall around £1 million a month. Anyone can moan and boy do they take full advantage. I may think the manager is not good enough and some players are not good enough but as soon as they get on the pitch I am right behind them hoping they play well and win.

Why have you dragged up a 10 year old post to vent your spleen?
Can't you spout dross on a new thread.

I don't think we should have sold Kohn Toshack myself. It was down hill after that.
    I blame Tan.<doh>

To be fair to jck, it was aber who resurrected this thread earlier this afternoon by re-posting one of his earlier comments on it - don't quite know why though.

Also don't know why jck waded in either.
