I believed a lot of **** when the internet was in it's infancy, all that nonsense about the pyramids, aliens et al. It's easy to gain a bias when the books about those subjects are so bias, as few interested in the subject would bother to buy or loan a book that debunks it. So the books become echo chamber without a dissenting voice. But the internet has vast amounts of information, far more easily accessible than the library. And so the dissenting voices are more readily heard, that is if you're actually willing to challenge you belief to discern the truth or not. People like you are not.
