I watched Harry and the Hendersons the other night. Not saying its up there with my favourite films but it gave me a warm glow as it took me back to a sunday night when I was about 7 or 8 watching it in the living room with my parents back when you had 1 tv in the house and it had 4 channels. Life seemed so simple back then

No Hard Feeling is quite funny. Jennifer Lawrence in the buff fighting on the beach.

Switched Oppenheimer off after 30 mins. Does that make me a bad person? Thought it was dull as ****

I'm not a big fan of Christopher Nolan, he's a bit dry and serious for me. Interstellar was great and I liked his first two Batman films but he's capable of being pretty boring.

Just watched "Leave the world behind" on Netflix. I enjoyed it. Canny cast with a plot that could realistically happen. Nice little around the table Jaws type "story" about an hour twenty into it. Not winning Oscars, just take it for what it is.

Forgot how good the ending to Con Air was. Brilliant cinema. Sirus was a bad man.

Best thing on tele for me this Christmas was It’s a Wonderful Life, seen it countless times
Enjoyed Polar Express but the three top ones for me were Grufalow, Stick Man and Room in the Broom, happy memories of reading these to the grandkids, my viewing is pretty ecliptic <laugh>.

Couple of classics over Christmas - the criminally underrated Scrooged, and Muppets Christmas Carol.

I also taped The Great Escape yesterday......

Watched "Goodnight, Mr Tom" for the umpteenth time. Brilliant film. John Thaw at his finest.

The Mrs is currently watching Gone With The Wind, which considering the sprouts on Christmas day, seems appropriate.

My Xmas favourite, every Xmas, is the animated/cartoon version of Scrooge. Best depiction of my mate Ebeneezer since Alastair Sim.

My 'must watch', at least once, every Xmas is the Alastair Sim version.
(I much prefer the B&W version to the 'digitly coloured one').
