It's Millwall, several cants will be there. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
The best transfer window that I can remember in 50 odd years of supporting City, and it looks like Coral agree, we’ve come in from 22/1 from when I backed them a couple of hours ago for promotion to 16/1.
I'd rather see him on grass than graphs to make a judgment. The legal type obviously, But exciting player by all accounts.
We've 'won' a transfer window before, remember? Up to Rosenior and his team to make them into a cohesive unit now. It's a lot to gel mid-season. But the potential for this team is huge. Bring it the **** on!
Proof is always in the pudding (or toffee apple crumble) of course. But yes, it's been hugely positive.
Obviously an incredible window, that goes without saying. The squad looks very good on the whole, still light on wingers, we've certainly gone for quality over quantity in those positions, and presumably Ömür playing wide when required is on the cards, as well as Slater/Traore if it comes to it. We're obviously light at centre back too. But presumably with the budgetary restraints this is just the reality, we can't have infinite players and if we want all these attackers with cover for injuries then there has to be a tradeoff somewhere, and realistically CB is the place we're most likely to be able to get away with less numbers, with the fitness record of Greaves and Jones as it is. I make it 20 players now out on loan, which surely must be a record. I wonder what all these fringe players must cost us in wages and whether it's worth it in the end when only a few at best will ever make it in our first team. But of course I respect the judgement of LR and the club on that. We'll have 5 debutants plus Philogene available on Saturday. Basically half a new team compared to our last game.
