It's clearly unlikely to happen at this late stage and Delap may well not be out for the season. I merely raised as a suggestion that Zaroury coming in may indicate that Delap will go back. I don't know how that's 'talking ****'.
They have no incentive to do so as they lose half the loan fee with no means of loaning him elsewhere to recoup it. The idea of 'freeing up a loan spot' is a compete misnomer also. It would just free up the finances.
It's got nothing to do with 'knowing the rules' and everything to do with you and Shark entirely misinterpreting what the suggestion was. As you say it's not happening now regardless.
Thought i heard we was keeping him and continuing with the arrangement but he will rehab between both clubs and also the club still wanted him in and around the club because everyone likes him players and staff and he wants to also be around still so they were keeping him.
So what specific 'loan spot' was he referring to? We can carry 6 loans just include 5 in a match squad and he isn't fit for it to be an issue anyway.
I'm pretty sure if we could recoup half the fee and wages then he'd have gone back and we'd have brought another in.
Move on. It's not happening and it's taken up enough posts already. It was speculation on why the winger coming in was a loan not a permanent that's all.
Never said we would not i just said what was said, but then again i'm not so sure anyway it seems the club like building friendships with other clubs so they seem to want to honor the arrangement.
Think it would definitely be a positive to maintain the relationship with the player ahead of summer.
Earlier in the day either Baz or Mike white speculated that it had just run out of time for a permanent as loans are quicker to get through.
Zaroury? There's no chance that was going to be permanent. I'd be shocked if we were able to get him here on a permanent. DIdn't even think there was an option in it.
Someone should have told my students that before I marked their Bsc statistics papers then. See you're still struggling with the capitals thing though.
Yeah, I'm thinking the winger on a perm might have been Willock. That was alluded to on tonight's live also.
It's just a typing cursor ( a habit formed by self checking the spelling by rereading the word with a starting capital ) Doesn't detract from the context.
Well you might be shocked. It may well be down to how he fits in here, whether he likes it here, where Burnley are next year, what they need to do financially, what manager they have... oh and the big one 'whether Acun would want to make it happen'. same sketch with Delap...
If Burnley go down I don't think they'd sell to us. And they're going down.. I was shocked Luton were happy to sell Giles to us but at least with that one they already have Doughty. Zaroury was a regular for Burnley last season.
