Sheffield United have agreed a deal in principle to sign Mason Holgate on loan.

The 27-year-old’s loan to Southampton has been terminated and he is set to have a medical in Sheffield this afternoon.

Everton manager Sean Dyche told reporters earlier today that Holgate moving to Sheffield United before the transfer deadline was a “very favourable deal”.

 

We all know that the 49ers do everything on the down low.

We meant to be looking for a CB. Souttar at Leicester was linked earlier today and Worral at Forest yesterday

 

Shockingly Leicester are not keen loaning a player out to a rival, whereas Forest are now open to a loan move for Worral, so that could happen.

 

Conor Roberts has had his Wiki Page updated already, one Leeds fan is obviously eager, he was in the EFL team of the season last year so a good capture if it comes off

 

Forest wanted a permanent signing but were asking for £6 million. Maybe they've lowered their sights

New: #nufc have had tentative enquiries for Paul Dummett from Championship promotion hopefuls Ipswich Town but Newcastle have so far resisted.
