He was Jaden without the energy , seemed to want to do what Jaden could - but couldn’t , I think he’s got skills but you watch Jaden and he was strong and didn’t mind a tackle .

was a bit tongue in cheek obviously but from what I’ve seen he seems a bit rough round the edges like Oscar with his touch etc

Delap from what I recall when he played against us always had an excellent touch and turn. I’m excited to see what the new lads about might have more of a chance of a perm if he performs.

Sunderland have signed Standard Leige winger Romaine Mundle for a fee of around £2m.

Looks like they're signing Barnsley midfielder Callum Styles on loan as well.

You’d think they might have signed someone who would run around then!

Clearly not someone who falls within Rosies style of play, all the best to him back with Hatayspor.

Can't it be true that he was **** for us (because of his lack of intensity and energy as others have mentioned) but also that he's a talented player and could go and be successful somewhere in the future? I think the post you quoted was a reasonable appraisal even though Malcolm was crap for us.

Hull City are closing in on another major boost to what has been a hugely significant transfer window so far, after agreeing a deal with Burnley to sign Anass Zaroury.

The Belgian-born winger has been one of City's major transfer targets throughout the window and ahead of Thursday's 11pm deadline, Hull Live understands a loan deal for the remainder of the campaign has been struck.

Zaroury was a key figure in helping the Clarets secure promotion from the Championship to the Premier League last season, and his potential availability has alerted a host of clubs in the second-tier, including Norwich City and Southampton. But, as with Jaden Philogene, Fabio Carvalho and Ryan Giles, the Tigers have beaten off stiff competition with the player making it clear his desire to join the MKM Stadium club ahead of other clubs.
The capture of the 23-year-old is another huge boost for boss Liam Rosenior and a further sign of intent from ambitious owner Acun Ilicali, who has been determined to give his manager the tools needed to get City into the top six come the end of the season and a shot at promotion to the Premier League.

Zaroury, who represented Belgian at youth level before opening to play senior football for Morocco, came off the bench for the final 15 minutes on Wednesday night as Burnley were beaten 3-1 at reigning champions Manchester City. But despite that late cameo at the Etihad Stadium, he's been restricted to just six appearances in the Premier League and made his frustrations known to boss Vincent Kompany.
City's interest has remained strong throughout the month. Despite looking at other targets, Zaroury has remained right at the top of Rosenior's potential list of new recruits, and speaking exclusively to Hull Live on Wednesday, owner Acun Ilicali suggested there would be a surprise, and this was the deal he was hoping the club would strike.

The imminent arrival of Zaroury, coupled with Abdulkadir Omur would take City's total tally of January recruits to seven, and Hull Live understands, there could yet be a late arrival before the club's business draws to a close.
