It's a long season with 38 results, I've highlighted your contradiction here - football is funny old game, we might go do City 0-3 after the break. Who knows.

For once, I think those odds are pretty accurate! I think we've finally hit a point in the season where we can be considered genuine contenders, not just on an early streak. But City definitely still the most likely to win... and Arsenal still not out of it and could still top us.
Just reflects the widespread view that city come on strong and nobody can live with them. In 19/20 we were so far ahead but our form had dipped massively (see atletico loss at home we were out on feet) but even then we only needed 2 or 3 wins in 15 games. Every other year city have been behind sometimes and got in fornt and held it winning all games or started in front and smashed it. Why should any nonLFC fan believe anything else when in real terms they are just one game result away form winning the title and have that game if they win at anfield. Right now you could actually say the title is in city's hands as much as it's in ours. They just need to win 18 games and they win it. We need to win 17.

I typically don't place bets (and not just because it's illegal where I am)- but if could still get 9/1 odds I'd put a sizable wager down. I still expect City to pip us, but 9/1 is very nice you got in on that.
