So what did he say and do then ? Cos he didn’t make himself available incase he got injured and it scuppered the move that had already been sorted,he should have grown some balls and came out and said as much
I Get that but where do we send player on loan to get experience, if you are championship they often go to league 1 for experience and often prem to championship so why when it's our club do we want to write that experience off as it is now not good enough experience, seems a bit convoluted to me and sometimes first team mens football is all some of these guys might need. I do agree that a certain level is required but maybe saying half their games were in league 1 is a bit of a slap to players like DN, we as fans seen first hand how tough that league could be at times so I personally rate their appearances as it looks now like it has done him and Patto the world of good.
To right he knew what he was doing and I’m so pleased the team did us proud on Saturday, mind certain folk just wait for another stick to beat the club with
I loved Pritchard but he behaved very badly. The quote from the club was ‘made himself no longer available for selection ’ which was a polite and diplomatic way of saying he refused to play. You can read it however way you choose, but unprofessional at the very least.
Two really good bits of business bringing these lads in, Speakman isn’t perfect by any means but he’s doing a good job overall.
Nowt against the lads coming in, looks like two bits of business and I’m excited to see them play, but if that’s us done after these two then that is mental, see what happens like
If we only bring these 2 in which I doubt very much then it is what it is we support the team and see where we get
Maybe Charlie from Arsenal was plan b if no Amed, or the deal for Romaine fell through? It will be interesting to see what happens. I still think that some more experienced players would be good for the development of the younger players in training, maybe players who want to move into coaching.
I agree with you and that's his axe to grind, however, he refused to pull on the shirt for the club that at the moment in time paid his wage, therefore, he can get f**ked.
Yeh I'm not saying League One experience isn't important, I'm saying Championship experience is weighted higher. Like somebody having played 50 championship games, for me, has "better experience" than somebody playing 100 League One games. And that person has "better experience" than somebody who's played 200 League Two games. So signing somebody from a lower league, or sending them for loans there, is still getting them experience. Just that experience isn't as valuable as championship or Premier league experience.
Why should we care what he thinks? It's not like he won't have some axe or other to grind having left under something of a cloud Mind I'm more than sure that those who are happy to feed on any negativity towards the ownership management group will lap it up
