We’re bringing in Brooks whilst looks like Leicester will be losing Dewsbury-Hall

The apparent ITK on SaintsWeb that is saying 1 in and 1 out is claiming the out to be Mara (assuming loan) but no suggestion as to the incoming.

If Brooks comes in then I'd like to see us loan out SAA tbh. If he hasn't had the game time with no Brooks, Aribo, Sulemana and Edozie I just don't see how he does when all/most are back available alongside other options. Dibbling is also there.

Sure he could grow in the u21s but he just has that something that makes me feel like he could really grasp a loan opportunity with both hands and even if we go up be a real option next season.

Plus we could send him to Bolton and he can help knock those down the road off their perch!

That thread is just people messing about, not genuine rumours

I think a couple are genuinely claiming to be itk. It's a job to tell mind you so I don't really know.

FFS claiming to be in the know! I am claiming I am a sex God and believe that if you like. Just don't ask the very lovely Mrs Godders that's all.

People usually ask supposed ITKs to prove it... I won't be doing that here <laugh>

You say that but the ring leader put up a post of the things they apparently got right and claimed a 100% record. No doubt ignoring any incorrect predictions which I assume are many

Seems like they mainly post rumours in the form of cryptic clues. I guess so that if they are wrong they can duck and weave and claim they aren’t ?

Anyway the person claiming one in and one out said “close but no cigar” to a guess Adams out and Miovski in. In this case “close” could mean anything. Could mean one of those players is right and one is wrong or that they have just correctly guessed the position

Saying the in is contingent on the out happening. And the rumours we have seem suggest Mara linked with a move out. But I can’t see how we could be getting a striker on a permanent that could potentially do a job if we go up in the final days of the window. And we are already over our loan slots. We can’t feasibly leave two loans out of match day squads and there has been no noise about converting Fraser (because he has no reason to do that as he’d have to take a massive pay cut)

Those that claim to be ITK and then follow it up with inconclusive vagueness and obfuscation are, without being vague at all, utter bawbags.

There is a reason they have been dumped into a separate thread to so they can, for want of a better word, continue a circle jerk. I don’t see what they get out of it. Even if they did have insight they were clearly such idiots about it that others had enough

I imagine both Saints and Charly thought he would feature more and be more successful this season than he has been. Could also explain the Rothwell signing a bit more. BUT he only signed a year ago and signed a new 5 year contract a few months back in October so I'd still be very surprised if this were true...unless perhaps Forest are offering a stupidly high fee that we don't feel we can turn down due to the FFP

I think I'd be okay with selling Alcaraz providing the fee is right, hasn't been great at all tbh.

Doesn't suit the system at all.

I wouldn't. He's still young, learning the language. Not surprising that it's taking him longer to get to grips with the system.

    Agree with Tom.

He is a young kid 7500 miles away from all he knows, with no one speaking his native language. He has had to embrace a different culture and try and perform to make us all happy. He is 21 FFS. How many on here at 21 could travel 7500 miles to Argentina and be thrust into the spotlight, have to perform and appear happy with no family or friends and everyone around you speaking Spanish?

He might not be having the impact that we expected this season, but he's still very young and talented and has come off the bench several times to really positive effect and looked every bit as good as we know he can be. Agreed the system seems to be bogging him down a bit, but when he comes on with the soul aim of making stuff happen in the attacking third, he's brilliant. I would absolutely keep him if we can for the future possibly more than for this season.

Also, IF we go up, Charley will be huge for us next season. Absolutely huge
