Haven’t heard the vvd stuff and the context behind it. And it may be it’s over exaggerated like a lot of stuff is and maybe sounding worse than it is. What I would say is it’s pretty poor timing from vvd. There surely wasn’t any need to say that stuff even if it’s been taken out of context or he meant is as a neutral comment. With the news of klopp coming out just has to say nothing get through the season and then see what happens.

I think I agree with the hypothesis that some hack or other had got wind of Klopp's decision and we wanted to pre-empt them in announcing it. Otherwise the timing seems a bit off to me, as we see it's only opened the door for the journo parasites and trolls to have a field day. And it's not only we who have to keep focused, the clubs with managers who are being put forward as replacements are also in danger of being unsettled. I'm sure Klopp did what he did in good faith, but the repercussions might be difficult to deal with. We're never going to hear the last of this until it's all signed and sealed.
