I know it's been talked about over the last couple of months but does ba keep his place when Roberts is back.
For me yes as I think we need to persevere with him. Roberts is an outstanding footballer and I wouldn't be upset if he came back in but for me we are more of a goal scoring threat with ba, both brilliant footballers and were lucky to have them. Choose one and I think I'll be leaning to ba for the future

For me Ba was my favourite permanent signing from last season.
However this season he has been quite poor imo. When he missed that massive chance (rebound effort at home to someone we ended up losing) he took some stick.
I thought he would suffer as a consequence from that but the last few weeks all of a sudden he has found his form again.
Tells me that he has character and determination.

Need to see him produce it consistently over the next few games before I’m ready to drop Roberts.

Roberts is a fantastic footballer and I wouldn't be adverse to him coming in but we look more of a threat with ba and for him to produce consistently then he needs to be in for more

Do you think though that for a footballer of his talent he needs to be producing more. Goals and chances

Roberts was well off the boil. It's Ba's shirt to lose now.

ba absolutely stays in until he has a drop in form for me, if not what kind of message does that send out to the young lads trying to get in The team?

I like Roberts but because of our lack of goal scorers we need others to contribute and he doesn't. Ba has proven he can contribute goals and assists.

As 'Exile' said 'it's his shirt to lose' but Paddy attracts more attention from defenders 'cos he's so skillful and dangerous, and we seem to have adjusted our style to 'feed' a centre forward more than before, which should benefit his game :emoticon-0112-wonde

Ba is in a 5 year contract and I'm delighted he's here.
Imo we've certainly missed Roberts and until Saturday we went through JC and teams set up accordingly especially Hull, think defences are more wary of Roberts as I don't think they realise what Ba brings to the table although that might change after Saturday.
Would I bring Pat straight back in then yes I would, Abdoulla has time on his hands to become a first choice player.

Ba for me but throw Robert’s on later to add some confusion to the opposition. Let’s see how Ba and Amad play together

Ba has earned his place in the starting lineup. It's up to Roberts to win back his place.

This 100% he’s a player who ties two defenders up all game for me, previous manager says one of best footballer he’d ever worked with, and I think mogga has forgotten more about professional football than I’ll ever know.

no good having good feet and doing nice tricks if nothing ever happens with it tho!
And he may take two guys out but honestly he does nothing with it he’s scored like 4 goals in two seasons not good enough! People have said he assists the assister but that’s absolutely clutching at straws.
