Not for me mate. I’m far more delighted that the lads won than concerned that yet another privileged professional footballer thinks they are owed the world.

Meant to have been offered same terms as on now, 1 year extension to current deal.

Hes a good players, if we were to go up id say hes not at that level. Hes a injury prone player a year on, we CAN BE effective for 60/70 minutes.....i don't think we should be offering him more than a one year deal, should we be offering him more than hes on now, im comfortable we haven't

If he can get a longer better deal elsewhere than i get it & good look to him.....BUT hes currently under contract here & its a cxnts trick refusing to play & one of the many things thats wrong with modern game. Lost respect for the lad after hes done that. He could easily have put a shift in today, left tomorrow & all parties would have understood

Personally if were to move forward giving Pritchard more than a 1 year deal wont progress us, we need to be aiming higher than Pritchard from end of season onwards in my opinion

Ok, how would you know these exact details? Doesn't matter what went on contract negotiations, he still refused to play which is ****ting on the fans

.if I had a head loss I would too. I see mental health rather important, I hope you do too. The fact the DOF went out and sang his praises to them not offer that to him , lord, that would mess with anyone's head

Other reports are saying he was offered the same as he is on now. Mental health is important but don't buy into that in this case. He should of played the game that doesn't stop him looking for another club

And i get you can only go on what youve been told

I just dont agree with it, thats just my opinion n i get some will disagree n some will agree

He will be away so we move on with the players that are here - we have some great talent in the squad but vital we add to it this window

We have differences of opinion but I think it's incredibly disingenuous for the DOF to go out and sing all praises to the highest possible level but not live up to that behind the scenes. Then to release the information of this over 30 hours after the player had told the club.

Yeah agree. He is gone. Will get a better deal so fair play to him. I'll miss him and I think some of the younger players will miss out on his tactical and individual approach behind the scenes.

My two penneth, as long as Pritchard has a contract he should honour it and be available for selection. Don’t know any other business where this behaviour would be considered acceptable. Don’t care what the future contract situation is tbh, that’s irrelevant to his current contract he agreed to. He refuses to play, we should be fining the maximum permissible from his vast salary that many of us can only dream of.

Then he should be getting signed off by a medical professional like the rest us. You can only self certify for a few days.

    Nail on head
Refusing to play is disgraceful, he can go to hell as far as I am concerned
I now wish to only talk about our transfer business

Rumour was two year deal on just over 50% of current wage which was outrageously high for a championship footballer .

He’s gone on strike to force a move to a tiny club in Turkey who get crowds under 4k?

Hope it’s a daft contract. He’s essentially declared football don’t really matter.

Wasn’t there talk his family weren’t settled living apart, canny jaunt to Turkey.

I think it’s fair enough to not announce it until teams announced. Want opposition to keep guessing. They’ll have prepared for Pritchard to be floating in from the right

the timing is absolutely not to try to shift the narrative. The content of it may have been I guess. But the timing is understandable considering we had a game to win (that he was refusing to play in)
