After a disastrous January, that's the first thing you can think about.

    Pathetic.

Can’t fault anything today tbf I think a couple players were a bit below par first half but they stuck with it and I think he made good subs too.

Fair play Beale he came out punching and let his football do the talking :emoticon-0165-muscl

    That was good.

Moved the ball a lot quicker, clear patterns of play, actually passed to the front man, 100% effort from all the lads.

Only criticism would be that we looked a bit open defensively but we were a bigger threat going forward and it's hard to find a good balance and i'd rather win 3-1 and look shaky than draw 0-0 and look solid.

Ba tremendous, lad got so much undeserved stick yet proves time and time again he is a quality player when given a chance.

Feel harsh saying this but Gooch was the worst player on the pitch.

As I said, that was good. Long may it continue.

Cracking result today, still lots of improvement areas but thats a big big win for us. Hats off to beale for bringing both Ba n burstow in. The balance of the team looked so much better today so thats encouraging. So pleased for Ba, he needs a run of games now but theres def a quality player there

Nice to see rigg get mins today, i thought jobe looked better today so delighted for him

Totally buzzing for beale, im not his biggest fan but some of the personal attacks have been embarrassing and says more about those people than it does beale, so buzzing for him to get the 3 points

I saw some many comments online from our 'fans' saying they wanted us to lose so beale would be sacked - total disgrace that, never want sunderland to lose a game!!

As for Pritchard, he can do one. I dont mind players wanting to leave a club but you do not refuse to play. I cant believe how many people are sticking up for him. Neil gets called a snake as he refused to manage us against norwich before his move to stoke n for me Pritchard is in that camp. As a massive fan of football i would give everything to play for a club like ours n hes refused to play - that is shocking n i dont want to see him in a sunderland shirt ever again (the balance in the team was better without him).
Huddersfield fans said he was unprofessional towards the end of his time there n hes shown his unprofessional side again

Most of all im delighted for us fans, been a tough month or so and 3 points really does give you a buzz on a sat night

Me and my son enjoyed that. Players were at it which helped massively.

Stoke had some huge chances but Clarke was a big difference I thought.

Fair play to the players and Beale for making some adjustments. Flat 3 in the middle worked well.

Another thing, Jobe looked a lot better without Pritchard stood on his toes. Balance was so much better.

Sometimes best with a flat 3 when you dont have a natural cdm

Not judging by the stats. Could have gone either way. Still, we've been mugged more than once this season based on stats so I'll take one in our favour.

    Something to build on.
