Match Day Thread Bournemouth v Swansea City

I got up at 3:40am to watch this game, it look ominous when I saw the midfield, 3 defensive midfielders in Grimes, Fulton and Allen. Appalling defending for the 1st and 3rd goal, I can't comment on the 4th and 5th goals because I went back to bed at 4am.

 

They lost 0-4 at home to Liverpool in their last match.

They made 5 changes to that side - probably rested a few for the FA Cup.

They are 12th in the PL

Whoever turned down 10m for Wood needs firing. Hed struggle to get in some L2 sides.

 

I wasn't able to watch it last night as I was out - thank goodness! It all sounds pretty depressing. The last couple of matches our midfield has been cut open and it sounds as though that was the case again last night.

I think that may have buggered up my prediction in terms of goals conceded this month!

 

That was one of the worst defensive displays I can remember seeing from any side ever, particularly first half. Absolutely shocking. Diabolical. I'm not sure how good Bournemouth were because it was like they were playing a schoolboy side.

 

I was watching on the S4C "app" on my TV and the option for English did nothing.

 

I watched it on the fire cube - it just defaulted to English for me.

 

When I had Virgin (spit) the audio option used to work for English commentary. My Welsh is far too basic (yet) to keep up!

 

So two trips up the South Coast and two 5-0 thrashings …..

 

Clutching at straws... the only plus was that Moore didn't score.

We had a great team then. I never knew that he got the original injury in the Cardiff game, very innocuous challenge.
