And what we know is he was told last summer he wouldn’t get a new contract. and that he then did get offered a contract (seemingly not the one he wanted) and he is now refusing to play. we don’t know anything else. No narrative from Speakman changes that. you’re saying he was promised something that was taken away. What was it? to me it sounds like he was never given what he wanted and so has demanded a sale so that he gets a longer term deal. Which is fair enough. But refusing to play isn’t.

On the team selection I said last night Burstow is best fit for our formation. Not saying he’s shown it more the type of striker he is. Just looks shot for confidence. Brave move by Beale and fair play he’s changed things. Go and make a name for yourself lad. Shame Pritchard isn’t sad behind him helping him out. We move on.
That is a very young bench and what the hell is Pritch playing at? I like Pritch, but I'm very disappointed with him. I can only think that something has kicked off behind the scenes. I've suddenly got a bad feeling about this match.
My thinking is maybe TM didn't rate him enough to play him (ironic if he goes to Brum) and had a say in him not being offered a new deal? Then new bloke come in played him everyweek and has suggested he gets a new deal which the club then offers? Easy explanation to the change of heart on wanting him to stay?
I thought we were supposed to treat players well, sounds like Pritch been messed about a bit. Poor show. If they were determined to let him go, then stick to that but don't make derisory half hearted offers.
Well Barnes reckons it’s all on Pritchard. He wanted a move last summer so we got Dack and Jobe in. Pritchard then couldn’t get a club. Now a club has come in for him and he wants away. Bloke’s an arse refusing to play in my view.
They have messed him about and made it obvious wanted shot of him, Speakman says they offered him a new contract to try and put it back on Pritchard. A contract which was obviously insulting to him. Don't agree with downing tools like but probs best we part company now. Omnishambles.
