If Leicester sell a double-barrel, and we get one in, I think that makes us favourites to win the league.
Coventry has a pretty good (but not great) chance of making the playoffs, at which point they'd be significant underdogs to get promoted. Tough position to be in, but the money likely matters (if you assume he's gone at year end) more than any edge case where they face us in the playoffs.
All depends on how the owner feels. They banked a huge sum for Gyokeres less than 12 months ago and have a hefty sell-on clause, with rumours of Chelsea buying. Now, I know that doesn't necessarily mean it's wise to turn down a good sum for O'Hare, but... it's conceivable
They also spent a lot in the summer, though, and their books entering this season were not all that great.
Would make the Rothwell signing extra pointless unless someone is off. Or perhaps an early Stu replacement Concern with any permanent signings at this stage is whether they’d cut it in the event of promotion
But what’s a good sum? Transfermarkt values him at €2.5m. I assume that factors in the 6 months left. If selling him is the difference between playoffs and not then it would be a big gamble
No point in this when we have Dibling and SAA to blood in. Benson and Brooks would improve the starting XI.
Brooks will stay at Bompey, and Burnley are being difficult it seems. Rak-Sakyi is a few years ahead in his development than SAA/Dibling, and he absolutely smashed it for Charlton last year.
Whoever comes in, they will likely start as back ups, I just don't see Russ tampering with a winning team too much.
