Off Topic Happy Burns Night

    Having absolutely no family links to Scotland whatsoever I still like Burns Night.

    You can drink Scotch with your meal without eyebrows being raised!

    Had this in the cupboard for literally years so decided to crack it open to toast the Chieftain of the pudding race.

    I'm at a Burn's Supper tomorrow night. I do like Haggis it must be said. Plus, I may raise a glass to my drunken gambler grandfather from Glasgow whom my Nan left when my Mum was only four (back in the days when you didn't do that sort of thing). I never met him but I'm named after him though!

    Well I suppose I could have said ran away from but never divorced, but 'left' seemed enough, and it was in 1927 so not the done thing at the time.

    If I've just been whooshed so be it.
