we have some hope then with he recent neutrino discoveries, but that hasnt been completely validated yet
yeah i really enjoyed it too, most excited about United as I have been in a long time(this season) For me I thought Evra stood out, back to his best, a captain's performance, Nani showed some sublime running, Carrick & Fletcher actually looked like they knew who they are playing for. Jones, apart from the o.g., showed exactly why he was purchased, as did Young and Valencia too. Sadly Rio looks a spent force, but then we do have other options. De Gea is developing nicely, a shade unlucky with the second goal, more prestigous keepers have done worse. All in all I thought it was an overall good performance, only let down by not scoring more, and certainly more entertaining than the noisy neighbours and that shower from down the road! .......... oh I forgot they don't feature in Europe this year
I suspect you were implying that time travel would need to be possible (moving faster than the speed of light), in order to move back in time and relive our historic league wins. We'll be there.
I gather fungus referred to the own goal as a "freak". Funny that when you score an own goal, it's a freak, but when another team scores one when playing you, it's as a result of constant pressure. Funny that.
The one way of knowing if time travel will happen in our lifetime is to make a pact now to travel back in time to this very moment when time travel is possible. If an older version of yourself turns up in the next few minutes then there you go! If not then I'm afraid time travel was not invented, or at least it was but is not widely available to the vast majority.
Do you mean Jule Benz? who played Darla the vampire in Buffy & Angel. ..no. but she is fit anyway. The avatar is a musician and from your country, she plays the drums in one of favourite bands, probably my current favourite actually. see if you can find which band she plays in. (sweats you're excluded from this "quiz")
Context Red, context. They scored their own goal after less than three minutes so the constant pressure logic can't apply. In that an own goal was scored during their opening attack it was a freak. FFS!
..... also the guy who played the ball looks like a freak! the kind of face that scares young children
Always the get-out clause. That's always the way with you lot. Here's another old chestnut. Whenever you get beaten, it's never because the other team played well - it's because you played s..t. I will always give credit where credit's due, and believe it or not, that includes you. I may not enjpoy it, but I do and that includes nnnnnineteen, God help me
No, I'm firmly of the view that absolute time travel is utterly impossible. In fact, if it turns out to be possible, I'll eat Isaac Newton's hat Shock horror! Premier League manager in lack of consistency when judging their own and other team's performances! Must be a world first...
a trio the original drummer was british, left/kicked out because his head is a mess. think sonic youth, jesus & mary chain.
I think he meant the character Debs who plays as Dexters sister who was married to him in real life, the one you are thinking of is Rita who plays his wife in the show.
What I said isn't a get out clause, it's a fair assessment. Last night's own goal can't be described as anything other than a one off and most definitely wasn't down to any sustained pressure. As for your other bit, maybe that's true in some cases but it doesn't apply to me at all. If we get outplayed I will say so, I'm no mug.
Haven't actually seen the goal, but was it a real freak goal like the double deflection for Lampard in the 2008 CL final or City's goal off Silva's back last season, or just a ball across the box that Jones didn't judge well? Commentary last night didn't make it clear what actually happened.
Last time I was chatting to Issy, he told me he never wore a hat Nah, I don't believe in time travel either. I can't see the violation of special relativity. It's what fission and fusion are based on for God's sake. Second quote - I take your point, but he does it more than most.
