I'm wondering if it's health issues. In his presser he says he's running out of energy but he's 'ok right now'. Just came over a bit worrying.
And by "dodgy deals" , he would do so much "mental gymnastics" on the meaning of the term that it would make a contortionist look like a brittle cripple.
No, I think that just means he has the energy to do the role right now but couldn't maintain the same level beyond the end of the season. I haven't checked but iirc he extended his contract last year to 2025. He must be feeling it if he couldn't do the extra year.
That's probably true but I think it's Livpl that should be investigated right now as it's all a bit suspect the way Kloppy has suddenly decided to chuck it in. If he leaves would he still be criminally culpable for any dodgyness at LFC? It would be good to get a legal position on this.
He has to be thanked for : 1. making the Poool since 2017-18 competitive enough to actually stretch Citeh in the PL rather than it being a procession 2. the WUM value of all the CL final appearances/win before Pep the false messiah even reached one
I'm interested to know how you, a Spurs fan, wummed anyone about losing a CL final to a dodgy penalty?
Nobody would know them if they walked into the room so fairly irrelevant. Time for Roy Evans to finish what he started.
The Poool had to reach the final in the first place (that epic win against Barca etc) to be awarded said dodgy penalty, did they not.
