Round we go again. There's been no resolution yet. We would have heard about it if there had been, either via announcement or through sources.
No you wouldn't, if there has been a internal investigation and they found out who's fault it was they would have a disciplinary procedure in-house, not for you or anyone else to know. It's not a murder trial !
I was more disappointed that there was no discussion around the academy, first team and ongoing developments on player recruitment.
There is another meeting soon to discuss the football side. They usually hold one after the window shuts. The minutes said a date to be agreed by Feb 2nd I believe
The commitment to make the result available is in the minutes...... As I've said previously, there has to be accountability to the support for something they're going to have to put up with for decades going forwards. Doing it behind closed doors leaves the club open to accusations of not doing anything.
I have a very good contract with my employer ... ... if he published any details of salary, terms or any disciplinary matters I'd take legal action immediately. I'd imagine that would apply to the tea lady, at the SOL, never mind a manager. People seem to believe they can demand anything and everything because they pay to watch football matches.
Sorry but its a typical Whitewash especially the BCB part, when will some on here see them for what they are , chancers. Where have we heard that before. KLD don't give a toss about us as fans. That's me finished with this thread.
They ****ed up, apologised and are dealing with it. You do realise that staff have rights and the club can't just say Bob in security let the ****ers do whatever they ****ing wanted.
It's a fact that people who 'support' Sunderland, by never actually going to matches, can demand personal and financial details of the club Seriously man, people carry on like they're major shareholders because they pay £300 a year to go to football matches.
I agree in terms of having to manage expectation around what KLD will ever disclose. I think when he publicly announces an investigation, it's fair to expect some sort of public resolution. They aren't going to name and shame people publicly though. If it was signed off by a member of management, I'd expect that in time they'd leave the club and it'll be all "new challenge, thanks for the hard work" etc. They won't ruin someone's reputation over it. If it was signed off by someone lower down in the hierarchy then there's even less benefit in naming them publicly. In either case the main thing, and what I'd want to see communicated, is how was it able to happen, and what is being done to ensure that kind of decision can never happen again
Good post mate, quite right. There are two options here imo. Either the club deal with the matter, punish those involved and move on ... .... or don't deal with it and move on. Those expecting a public hanging will be disappointed imo. The club would present, to potential future staff, investors, players, etc, a poor culture if they're happy to crucify people for stupid mistakes. Continually washing dirty linen in public is never beneficial imo ... no matter how justified.
