We absolutely need someone to call a spade a spade in the board meetings fella. No doubt about it. Some have believed their hype. After 2 or 3 failed windows. Onto the third head coach , some could do with a check.
Found a quote from Styles about where he plays I've played left wing-back in previous seasons and sometimes in the No 8, but at the minute I'm playing as more of a box-to-box No 8 and sometimes in the No 10. I feel like there's that bit more freedom to go forward, create and get on the end of things.
Diamond could really do with a good loan spell at Carlisle. He's 24 now and he's incredibly closer in age to Bradley Dack than Chris Rigg. Poor lad had a big chunk of his career taken from him so I hope he does well
I like Jobe alot. He has perfect height and physique for a midfielder. Early in season I thought he was great (as we probs all did) but I think the hierarchy are obsessed with putting pressure on him getting lots of starts to add to his value and cash
I just don't get this argument tbh. If money is all 'the hierarchy' are interested in why flog him to death. Why not sell him now and make a big profit, job done and sensible if you think his form might fade. Rigg's value hasn't changed despite him not playing ... ... and, by default, the value of our entire squad would increase in the PL. Irrespective of that, the cash income, for promotion would make any increase in Jobe's value totally irrelevant. I'd say that playing regularly in a top half Championship, as an 18 year old, is quite successful ... ... and Speakman has transformed the squad, as a whole, it's not dependent on just one player imo.
@Smug in Boots you're using Rigg as some sort of comparison but the fact is Rigg hasn't got a world famous brother playing for RM. It's my belief and my opinion that the hierarchy are hoping to cash in on his name. The more starts the higher his value. Like I said I like him alot.
Wouldn't rule it out. Everyone can see he needs a rest. They even play him up front ahead of our strikers.
