Good win, but we never ever make it easy for ourselves, watch out Leicester, Ipswich, Southampton, were after you.

Great win against an in form team, a clean sheet and yet another team we limited to one shot on target. A concern over James being injured, Archie possibly too, we’re starting to pick up a few niggles now. Bet that Ipswich Spanish guy stays away from here now :emoticon-0140-rofl:

Evening all. Great win tonight because they are a decent side. I thought Archie was superb tonight, some great defending and he was also great going going forward with James. Emu will hate it but Firpo was very good again. He's had a run of games and has settled down. He gives us an extra dimension going forward and showed decent defending tonight.
We defended really well to restrict them to one shot.
    Great result.

Meslier - 6. Looked a bit flappy a couple of occasions. Made a couple of routine saves. Clean sheet. Needs to buy his defence a few pints again for protecting him.

Gray - 7. Decent option going forward. The ball inside him was too easy on a couple of occasions but made a match winning tackle in the last 10 minutes.

Rodon - 9. Won everything in the air, showed good pace to cover any Norwich attackers. An absolute rock.

Ampadu - 8. Played a bit of a supporting role to Rodon just mopping up anything that was left. Never looked troubled.

Firpo - 7. Much better defensive work and was a constant nuisance to Norwich on the left flank with Summerville.

Gruev - 7. Looking at home in the Championship. Some lovely touches and nice passes to go along with his quiet disruption of Norwich's midfield work.

Kamara - 6. Form has just dipped a touch lately but still had some good moments. Just seems half a yard off his best over the last few weeks.

James - 7. Top notch cross for the goal. Excellent workrate but often ran in to cul de sacs and crowded out.

Summerville - 8. Just lacking an end product but always looked likeliest to be the one to create or score the 2nd goal.

Rutter - 9. Just a complete menace in this division. If he added more goals to his game he'd be one of the best players in Europe.

Bamford - 7. Lovely finish for the goal. Laid one on a plate for Anthony late on which was missed. Decent hold up play. And the obligatory comedy misses.

    Subs.

Anthony - 5. Bright start but faded badly as the game wore on.

Joseph - n/a. Added time sub.

Cooper - n/a. Added time sub.

Byram - n/a. Added time sub.

Win our next league game and we’ll be second and in an auto spot, granted Southampton and Ipswich will have games the following day but this is turn the key and add the pressure on time
