Paul (Mr. Boring) Hirst has got the Shrewsbury gig (again). Bet radio Shropshire listeners are thrilled
God I remember that horrible time well, despite only being 10 at the time. RIP. Also the new mural at the MKM by local artist Andy Pea, I went to school with an Andy Pea. I wonder if it's the same bloke as it's not exactly a common name.
Interesting to see which TWS players Norwich target and if they get away with as much as they did at the MKM
Not good either way for us! Don’t want TWS to win, but a Norwich win they peg us back. What we need is a massive fisty cuffs, game to be abandoned, with points deduction for each of ‘em. Job done. Not that I condone violence, or failure to control players…..I wish!!
Need a Zambia goal here.....a point for them vs Morocco would send Ivory Coast out and Seri back to us.....
Re the Leeds Norwich game.....it's an incredible indictment of how low down the food chain the BBC sees championship football, that when you go on the BBC sport main page, you've got links to the EFL cup semi, Scots prem, women's champ league and AFCON, but not a single link to the Leeds Norwich game, they've not even got live text commentary. I mean, yeah I know it's Leeds and they're a set of ****s.....but it's a bit mental
Crazy stat I heard the other day was the most booked side in the division was Norwich and the least was Leeds! Revie would be fuming.
You make it sound like the BBC are actually a relevant media outlet like they were all those years ago!
Excerpt from an article about Twine's move to Bristol City ..... ""Strangely enough the balls change every year, so it takes me a little bit of getting used to. I had all pre-season with the Premier League balls, so I was practising with them and then I went on loan so I had to try and adjust again. They’re very different. The Premier League balls are more similar to the FA Cup balls; flight, weight, even the material is different, so it’s quite a big change. It took a little bit of getting used to, but that’s why I practice a lot. I love practising free-kicks and set-pieces and just ball-striking, really. I think now, I’ve fully got the hang of it.” Well, I never knew that! How utterly ridiculous having different balls for different divisions and cups!!
Not football related but since when does that ever stop anyone. And in other news…. hope he flushed otherwise it’s gonna absolutely hum in there…. It’s a quiet day on my Spanish mountain, hot, bored and hungry… that’s my excuse..have a nice day you all!!!!
Outstanding defending by Walker who gets awarded a free kick for a foul How good would it have been if the ref reviews it on var and awarded spurs a pen for walkers dive
I see Aaron McLean's doing a pundit job on today's BBC1 coverage of Ipswich's v Maidstone cup match and Sone Aluko on Ipswich's team sheet.
