He needs a break its obvious to everyone, well apart from our coaching staff, flogging him to death, did the same with Neil and Doyle in division 1
Has the old saying goes “use it or lose it “ with the contact he’s on he’ll be away. He definitely needs to be given some 1st team game time, not just bench warming!
can’t remember the last time he had a good game tbf! Was class start of the season but like has been said kids mentally ****ed imo.
People who hate him will moan anyway, other will moan because they played FM, a few will just see how they get on
I’ve never been massively impressed if I’m honest. No doubt he’s scored some important goals but he’s looked very raw and his touch is very loose at times. Weak too. Really young still so the potential is there but I’m always disappointed when I see him named in the starting XI.
Got a nervous feeling for the game already, cannot wait... a return to the normality of a 3pm Saturday k.o. greatly helps... Hhhaaawwwwaaaaayyyyyyy the lads Edit: may start drinking tonight
He’s offered nothing for a long time. Someone needs to work out what he’s good at and what his best position is. He’s not ready to be a Championship regular yet imo.
Agreed re his best position. The kid started off very brightly but now looks knackered, unaware of what’s expected of him in his role and a yard off the pace. He needs to be given one role and taught how to play it. Moving him every game is doing his progress no favours at all. Also he’s a big lad but has probably been the biggest kid on every pitch he’s played on. He’s now up against men and needs to learn how to use his size and strength. This is the stuff that needs to be coached into him and it needs to be done with sensible exposure to first team football. The kids only just turned 18 and we are going to ruin him if we aren’t more careful.
Got the feeling we got the wrong Bellingham and even with time I think he will always in the shadow of his brother - maybe we should have signed the dad who was a prolific goalscorer when he was playing .Seriously I think a break would do the kid a favour , working on the training pitches and really finding what his strengths are would be beneficial as he always tends to turn backward toward his own goal and slowly being caught by the opposition far too much .
Couldn't agree more. Been said many times but brand Jobe seems to take priority. Needs to be sorted. Isn't fit enough to lace prichards boots in the 10. Needs to be used different with strict instructions to release the ball much quicker or be dropped down to the bench.
