Well a lot already look as though they've had some military training. Having said that, they're clearly crap at conventional warfare, and I doubt the professional troops would feel comfortable with them guarding the flanks.
Hopefully there’s some sort of Dad’s Army division for the generation that fetishises war and military service despite never having got close to either.
