I’m not saying sign a squad of plodders, I’m saying that we need a few experienced heads. We can have all the individual talent in the world but if they’re all naive, inexperienced and have no leader on the pitch with them we’ll continue the way we are. Spine of your team should be rock solid and ours is pitiful.
Cracks me up tbh but I’ve no idea what you’re arguing about sometimes. ‘You need to tell them Bob’ the voices please stop
He’s a hell of a lot better than what’s in there currently. We’ve got a player who’s played about 30 games at CB in his career organising the defence and 3 midfielders with a combined age of about 20 running around like headless chickens at times.
He is but he’s injured.Actually no he isn’t. You think Evans is better than Neil and Ekwah. Would you sign him instead of them if you were another manager? I think honestly we should have foreseen the length of his injury because he plays an important role but let’s say he’s fit end of feb on good wages and we have two experienced cdms and ekwah Jobe , Rigg, Neil, Pritchard all to keep happy in the centre what then. I partly agree we need more that can play this league and that means played games but it’s not that easy. You’d be moaning Rigg or Ekwah don’t play then.
Direct question. Would you get rid of Speakman and do you think we’d be better for it long term? Or do you think he’s done well
Yes, SAFC has form for that. Apprently, we messed around and broke promises with a left back we were chasing from either Liverpool or Blackpool i think the lad was at.
Because the top table have an idea we are always right, and KS has lost the plot with this plan. When he 1st came to the club he was a breath of fresh air. Even though other coaches at Brum i know told me he was a snake, I gave him my benefit of the doubt. He has just got way above himself.
Yes in a heart beat, he got carried away with a bit of success, and it took over, the same happened at Brum with Jude, he has lived on that, and that's how OUR plan evolved. IN HIS HEAD
We didnt treat all involved very well...I believe the lad came to SAFC for a few days as well..our handling of the situation was not very professional.
I would be starting him ahead of Jobe on Saturday, Jobes battery needs recharging . Rigg is fearless and can always be replaced at half time if it's not working but the lad always gives 100% and doesn't stroll around likes it's a Sunday league game where everyone has hangovers
