Shesupincourt looks a fair bet at 11/2 shesup beat 2nd fav pipers cross easily lto over further. The fav only fools may well find c/d and conditions testing. The one bookie 365 hold the fav and shes up at 5s , they really dont want to join in with the 11/2across the board and i dont blame them.
Nine nine nine could go one of two ways but 9s seems fair odds although i would not risk much . Nine nine nine really was traveling well considering its probrably a bit more of a pacier track at Hereford than would suit , they was just moving through the ranks nicely when Nine looked spooked at the rail holding the fence and panic set in . So lto can be chalked off for that reason .
Always looking for those ridiculously overpriced nags. My Girl Katie fits the bill 3.10 New 40/1. Although most of her best form is on good to soft she was only beaten a couple of lengths on soft ( it was very soft) whilst fav at Chepstow in October. So I'm willing to take a small chance that she's not as hindered by the ground as the hacks would lead us to believe. She's on a very workable mark. Tongue strap cheekpieces.
Newbury 15.45 I would have been all over Issar D'airy, even maybe at the slight odds on offered by B365 (5/6). But the big unknown of chase debutant I'd Like To Know is a concern, especially being blue across the board, and therefore the odds on is too much of a risk. Possibly worth a check on the betting closer to the off
3 others i will entertain at Leicester Imperial Alex 11/4 Ererythingsontick 4s now took bigger Heross du seoul 5s again took bigger So they are being nibbled at
Just looking at the going stick readings for Newbury 3.7 Hurdle 4.0 Chase That's heavy ground right? Official: Good to soft...soft in places Put me right someone Moisture content 61% is that a new type of reading...only Newbury report moisture content? Help me out here.
Pick a number, any number. Pick a going report, any going report. It is one of my biggest annoyances with racing, and the whole list is vast!!
It is very annoying , and very misleading atr post changes very late . Generaly i guess on forecasts but the best guide is to watch tbe first race to see the conditions . Stratford (localish track ) is bad for false conditions g/s to s generally means g/s to g ! But these things are here to test
The thing is for a punter it's small margins it's so annoying.....but for owners and trainers it's worse - trying to act in best interests is paramount.
I fully agree but for trainers looking to reduce marks it often does not really matter . Its easy to say they fully expect to win everytime but sadly that is not the case . The conditions do make a difference but they are not the only factors involved in a race , they are just another part involved in the outcome. But lets face it there are Gamblers (the majority) and there are calculated Risk takers ( the minority) . The handicap is there for a reason and Owners and Trainers often forward plan targeting specific meetings with marks in mind so reducing that is often there key goal. I agree though it is not in the animals best interest to go from firm to heavy . But that the uk weather for us
The (15:45) at Newbury, an extended 2m Class-3 Handicap Chase on softish ground, gives a decent chance for Hystery Bere to get his head in front. Should be well-up there from the start? Harry Cobden on board for the Tom Symonds yard. 11/2 (Wm.Hill) best price at time of writing. E/W preferred option.
