Isn't that more of a reason to want it though? We've never won the second tier and haven't won any league competition in 64 years. Be nice to change that. Going up as runners up is ****e. I could swallow having to play in the PL if we win the league or a wembley final.
Three wins in a row for Leeds. They've got a nasty finish to the season - including Hull, Coventry, Sunderland, Boro and us. But over the course of the next two months, they've got the sort of nice fixture list that we've been experiencing. It's only really their home game vs Leicester which stands out.

I think the problem we have as Saints fans is that we are expecting us to screw it up. It is almost like 21 games unbeaten means we are bound to lose the next few games. How about going 30 games unbeaten in the league? or maybe 39 games? Let's control the controllables

We're currently level on points with a superior GD but they have a game in hand, albeit against Leicester tonight. If they win tonight they'll be 3 points ahead of us. If we then somehow match each others results for the rest of the season it would then come down to the away game at Portman Road! Moral of the story, far too many games to go yet to worry about that kind of thing!
