He just looks completely lost in the middle of the pitch, that may change in time but I’ve been impressed whenever he has played on the right wing.

And we should be playing people to their current strengths.

He might go on to be a winger, but from the clips on YouTube in France he was playing centrally.

Doesn't help when he's getting abused by the fans for missing 1 chance.

He came on and played in the centre V Preston and looked good.

To be fair I thought Ba was the only one who bothered the mags for the short time he was on. He's the sort who defenders hate playing against because he's not afraid to run at you

And the opposition wouldn't have a clue how we would set up

Ba would have torn Dan Burn a new one, I can't figure out why we never had more of a go at him. If Roberts had have been playing, Burn would still be inside out today

I really like Ba but for me he has to be out wide. He's raw and unpredictable, everything I like in a winger.

It's only just come to me, but it's been mentioned a few times about us having one of the lowest wage bills in the league.
That to me could be a good thing , what happens if the likes of Ba and Adil really kick on next season, it gives us the opportunity to improve and extend their contrcts, we could also improve and extend, Ballard, Patterson, Neil's contracts as they improve.
Paying lower wages hasn't really stopped us bring young talent in, it just enables us to improve their contracts as they develop rather than cash in at the first opportunity

Did we? He can play a few positions but CM isn't one of them. Wing back or winger is what he is.

    Agreed about the fan part

He played loads of different positions through the age groups in France. Best game i saw was at rwb, got up n down the line throughout n caused opponent loads of problems

Not for me, I only like him out wide. I'm struggling to picture him alongside Neil and he's never done anything as a CAM that I can recall.

Looks good out wide with some space to run into though.

The reason our wage player will be lower is because we sign young players. Most will be signing their 1st big contract when they join us. If you sign older players youll normally have to match the wages that they are on

Dont mind us having a low wage bill at the minute as long as we can extend the players we want too - which we have done so not really an issue for me

I like how he can carry the ball with both feet comfortably. Not many players can do that.

I don’t buy this whole players aren’t good enough, some have hardly been tried and when they have it’s for 5/10 mins at the end of a game we’re trying to scrape a draw from.
Stop playing players out of form and in positions they aren’t used to and we may see an improvement, to keep playing the same players but just moving them around the pitch isn’t helping anyone.
